  • I cant wait for my scan on Friday!!! slightly nervous too but cant wait i need to let this lovely secret out! :) xx
  • The scan went well, my daughter got 4 pics, her due date is now 4th June, so 12+6. It was amazing i don't remember getting this emotional when i was having my babies. Daughter now says it feels real as she's seen the heart beating. The blood tests were a different matters, she got herself so worked up she was so upset that the midwife said she could go up to pathology for it if she wanted. After me explaing that if we went to pathology she would have to wait in a queue, and it could be ages, she decided to let the midwife do it. Her head covered with her sweatshirt so she couldn't see what was happening, and my hand to hold/squeeze, ouch lol.
Amazing afternoon, i'm so glad that my daughter and her partner wanted to include me.

Red-boxer: aww! Her date is the day after mine. I'm glad, despite the blood tests, that it went ok. Seeing the little un on screen makes it real and far more exciting.

Fantastic news red-boxer! So pleased all is well and that your daughter managed to get through the blood tests ok! It's definitely easier if you don't look :)

Hope the rest of her pregnancy goes smoothly, and how exciting to think you will have a grandchild in June next year!

Counting down the hours to mine now (all 46 of them...)

I'm in my final week of the first trimester (13+0). Time is flying by! I am praying that my worsening morning I mean all day sickness is just a blip.

Aw so happy for you red-boxer - I took my sister along to my first scan and it was really nice to have other members of the family there too.

Thats my anniversary date! (4th June) so we're hoping our EDD date might end up being on that date

Sparkles - I think I'll only end up doing a few of the things on my list, but its nice to plan them anyway..will def do the afternoon tea (maybe with friends as its not really DHs thing!), and read a few of the books on my list!

    Aww dippy :(

I know that homesick feeling when away (I go away for work fairly regularly) - it's hard even without pregnancy hormones!!

Yay for all those who have had scans!

Not much news with me - still feeling rotten and was very sick last night. I am somewhere between 10+4 and 11+1 and am still not showing at all and no need for new clothes etc (although I can only fit into 3 of my bras!).

Hi all, haven't posted in a while. Got my scan on 5th Dec, so not long to go now. Im over 9 weeks now, been feeling tired and my nausea in the morning first thing has subsided, although i was very sick today at cleaning out the kitchen bin, my Dh doesn't do taking out the rubbish and the smell set me off, yuck! Hugs for bad nausea and good luck for wed mrsj , let us know how you get on :-)

You better tell him to start then!! I hope he feels bad after you being sick from doing it, don't do it next time!

Glad your daughter got the tests done in the end red boxer. I'm scared but I'm also quite..not shy, but I just couldn't get that upset in front of someone I didn't know, so ill probably just be fainting silently!

Well OH is 12 + 0 today and so far other than a few little pregnancy niggles - nothing really major to report!

First scan in the morning - fingres crossed!
