Am I the only person not showing at all? If anything I think my stomach is even flatter than before from all he puking! I do get bloating but then all the burping seems to rid that before it builds up again! Although I am only 8-9 weeks so a bit behind some of you anyway, I think the baby is only the size of a tic tac now hehe! Feel and been really sick today plus now getting headaches from dehydration I think so absolutely dreading work tomorrow.

Hugs mrsj for having a horrible boss - I had a horrible lady boss too years ago, it makes work quite stressful doesnt it :(

I am actually starting to feel better now, I need less sleep and I can stay awake til 12 again without feeling like im gonna collapse! Also, the nausea is slowly going, starting to (touch wood) feel normal again. Not going to worry about this, as Im 12 weeks according to LMP (though 11 weeks according to scan), so I think its normal for symptoms to ease off - its about time! Looking forward to my second trimester!

Good luck mrsj and anyone else having their scan next week, remember to tell them you do want a pic of the scan before u have it, as I didnt get a pic at my last scan as I hadnt given them advance warning (and they didnt even ask me!). I have my scan on Fri - can't wait, really excited! Just thinking positive thoughts about it now..

I was talking to friends about all the things I wasn't able to do anymore since falling pregnant, and we had the idea that I should have a 'bucket' list of things to do before baby arrives! Has anyone else had this brilliant idea?

Here are some of mine - anyone have any more ideas? I want to do as many things as possible so I dont have any regrets about having missed out on anything before we become a little family :j

Afternoon tea at ritz on valentines or anniversary
    Nice dinners at posh restaurants
    Play and dinners
Open air play at regents park
    Dark sky weekend
    Cottage weekend - babymoon?
    Maternity portraits
    Prenatal yoga and swimming
    Make baby booties
Read at least 4 books on my to-read list

Would love to add stuff like indoor skydiving, climbing weekend etc but I think that a pre-pregnancy bucket list :rotfl:
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

    Debt at LBM (Sep 07): £13,500. Current debt: [STRIKE]£680[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£480[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£560[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£13[/STRIKE] £0 overdraft :D
Current aims - to start building up savings
    1st £1000 in 100 days - £1178.03 :D 2nd £1053.38/£1000 :D 3rd £863.59/£1000 :o

Thanks for this - I had an email first thing this morning and thought 'must get some maternity jeans' and then totally forgot again, so your reminder is very timely!! Thanks :)
  • Morning ladies, I don't think I'll have time for a bucket list, I'm in my final year at uni after taking far too many gaps and only finish a month before my due date! Hoping to take maternity a bit early from work to concentrate on final dissertation stuff.

Finally midwife day today :) Got so many questions for her!

Enjoy the midwife appt Sparkles! She'll have just as many questions for you!!! It's nice being 'in the system' I think :)

Just had the most epic vomit... I'm sure you are all delighted to know that, but I have to share it somewhere :D
  • woohoo, my daughter has her first scan this afternoon, i'm so excited. She's got herself so worked up about the blood tests, that she's dreading the day altogether. I'm sure once she's had the scan she'll be fine......well i'm hoping so, as when they had BCG's at school she refused to have it and walked out, she hasn't had her flu jab either as she's that terrified of needles. Looks like my afternoon could be spent trying to calm her down enough to have these blood tests.
Good luck to all those having scans this week.
