Snozberry and BigBird (and others!) - are your scans this week? Good luck to all those with scans this week :)

Yes - on Tuesday. I can't wait because I just want someone to tell me that I am pregnant. I know that I am though, I just want someone to tell me.

Oh, yes! Fab lollies are absolutely divine at the moment. I also really like cordial but it has to be weak. I have completely gone off ready salted crisps and the smell of anything BBQ related makes me feel very ill indeed.

My tummy feels quite different at the mo - there is an ickle hard bump emerging. Those in the know say that I am showing but part of me thinks that it is just ice lolly and the copious amounts of crisps that I used to eat!
  • Hello how is everyone ? I'm at the tired and nausea feeling morning noon and night !!! Still not been sick just feel it all the time !!! X

Those of you who have had 8 week scans, is this because you booked a private one?

I was offered one as I had bleeding and pain at six weeks so they scanned to rule out ectopic and then offered me another one at eight weeks to check the heartbeat if I wanted so I agreed.

Sorry to hear you're so sick, my nausea has been much worse since I hit week 8 but luckily keeping most things down. I tend to be hungry straight away after being sick, so just noting down what caused it and avoiding that food for a while.

I've started trying to get up as soon as I'm hungry, even on days off, to eat something and then give into an afternoon nap. Seems to have helped today. I'm so sleepy all the time though :o

Mine's not til 29th, which still feels like forever away. I just want someone to tell me I really am pregnant as sometimes I sit here and think I'm imagining it all:o

I thought my sickness was easing off, but right now I feel really nauseous again. I should be thankful that I've not actually thrown up, I suppose. Hugs to anyone else feeling sick or grotty. This bit's not much fun, is it?

We were out with a couple of pregnant friends last night and I think we managed not to give the game away. One knows what she's having and the other is hoping to find out at her 20 week scan. We didn't find out beforehand with DS, but I'm tempted to do it this time. Is anyone else planning on finding out?

Definitely! I am even thinking of possibly an early private scan - depending on how many weeks the 2nd scan is! I am that eager to find out - I don't like yellow! :D (although £100 is a bit expensive when you think of the other things it could buy....!)

My scan isn't until 4th Dec - which seems even later than most of the other 10-11 weekers! So most of you will graduate on to the 12-24 week board before me!:o

I have just eaten 2 Fab lollies - they are on offer in Morrisons if anyone has one nearby!:T

Think I might have to try some fab lollies they seem to be going down so well! I've also gone right off crisps. Craving Ribena, and cottage pie of all things so had that for dinner tonight! Oh and tuna sandwiches although I think I can only have that a couple of times a week from what I've read

Hi all, got my bfp last week.
Doesn't seem like that long ago that I was here with ds, who is now 16 months. Judging by my calculations I'm due 25th july:j
  • Claire - they suggest up to two cans of tuna a week is safe. But I think if you're craving it and settles the sickness, then go with it for those portions!

I don't have a scan date yet, won't until I see midwife on the 26th :( So I'll be here another four weeks yet!

We want to find out as it's our first :D
  • Morning. How is everyone today? I hope the nausea/sickness/tiredness is (more) bearable. I had an upset stomach last night and generally felt yuk so I'm taking it easy today and semi-working from home. I'm going to Belgium with my OH on Wednesday for 3 nights and I really hope I'll be ok when I'm away.

I had my scan letter last week and mine's on 5th December when I'll be 12+4, and that feels like ages away! I keep going through phases of feeling really excited at the thought of seeing our baby and being able to share the news. Then the what if it's bad news thought comes into my mind, and I get a bit scared. I know I need to stay positive, for my own sanity if nothing else, but it's really hard when you hear/read about things going wrong.
