8 gazillions leaflets and sales promo's and if your lucky a sample pot of sudocrem, fairy non-bio sample and maybe some breast pads. Don't put your phone number down as you will get telesales calls. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Just Discovered yesterday that OH is pregnant after trying for 3 years. Had to go through IVF route! But sooooooooooo happy......
Being first child and having waited for long, we are very anxious! first scan is after 2 weeks at IVF clinic before being discharged to GP.
1- any good books that anyone can recommend?
2- At what stage does midwife comes into picture and scan starts? we are just about to move home.. so will have to change GP...0 -

I didn't see midwife until 9 weeks at booking in appointment (was told I had to see her between 8 - 11 weeks).
Don't really have any books but tend to to search each week for "x weeks pregnant" on google, there is a few regular sites like emma's diary etc that give a week by week what to expect. The ladies here have often suggested using the library first to get an idea of what style of book you like as they can vary.
