Haha! I'm glad I'm not the only one then! I have never even changed a nappy in my life! :o

I just have a bit of belly cramp at the moment - I thought I was coming on...but then it never arrived so I did a test and then another...and it shocked me....so quickly....I have friends that have taken 3+ years in their 20's and early 30s....:eek: I always thought the word pregnant was for other people!!!! I am hoping this thread and the support of others will help me x

Same here. I thought that I was coming on because I had cramps, felt emotional and had sore b0obs. Kept checking a zillion times a day until I realised that my sore b0obs felt sore in a different way and that I was also uber tired so we did a test. Never cried so much in my life and my OH had never had the giggles so much. Then I started whinging about stretch marks and having a bucket f@nny! haha How silly!

I will be reading this thread like a hawk because I have soooooo much to learn! I really have not got a clue what to do :)

:D Those things worry me also!!! :rotfl:I am currently trying to gain sympathy with the OH - but he's not having any of it! We've not told anyone just in case but I am going to disclose to a very good friend.

Nice to meet you on here - I'm sure we'll keep up with each!:)

defo :) I have told a couple trusted colleagues as I needed to explain why I kept feeling faint and queasy. I was met with shocked expressions before squeals of excitement!

lol well, when I told the lady I work closest with she just stared at me for ages. I think that she went into shock! The important few that I told are really excited but I had to tell them because of the nature of my job. Me chucking up or fainting would cause royal chaos! I am really looking to the day when I can tell more people. Gosh, their faces will be a picture!

Welcome to all the new ladies - Congratulations on your BFP's and wishing you a happy and healthy few months ahead. Give your surgery a ring and ask the receptionist if you need to see a GP to be referred to the midwife or if you can self-refer as it is different throughout the UK.

Lemon and chonorla, glad that you're both home again and hope that you're feeling better.

Tinks, holding thumbs for you for tomorrow, really, really hoping that it goes well.

lazywife, thank you for doing the list

take care all and wishing everyone a happy and healthy Monday

Thank you for the lovely welcomes :)
so happy, we've just told our parents tonight and they seem happy (obviously no one else will know for a good few weeks yet) so we'll see how things go, fingers crossed.

Massive hugs for all going through trying times at the minute xxx
