I'm just scared I'll get there & theres something wrong & it's 1/2hr away on the motorway I wouldn't be able to drive home!
Got to stop being so pesimistic. I just think the spotting a few weeks ago is haunting me
chances are everything will be fine and you will just be looking at your baby on the screen - hubby will be missing out if he can;t get out of work!! does your hospital have saturday appointment? i have heard some that do. do private places do saturdays?
i agree with jcr - when everything went wrong for me i was in the hospital for hours - there will be plenty of time to get someone to come and pick you up if the worst happens. i would be amazed if the hospital let you drive home as i was in a right state.0 -
When things went wrong for me they put me back in the waiting room and gave me an appointment for erpc and kicked me out... I was on my own every time.. apart from last time they sent me home without an appointment and I bled constantly for 3 months until I insisted on an erpc.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Ahhh, there is our little ray of sunshine
I feel very relaxed about having the scan. As I said on a previous post, it is very liberating having the 'what will be will be' attitude.
I had a quick look on the TTC conceive thread before - they need to hand out a dictionary so everyone else can understand the terminology they use!0 -
lol.. our hospitals are not known for their competence or compassion..
I've been eating.... and asleep... and eating... and asleep.. and eating.... you get the picture? The baby has been a miserable git today too.. not had a minutes peace!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Welcome leany and marie (hope I didn't miss anyone)
Glad (well, maybe relieved) to hear that others are weary by the end of the day as well. I'm usually very very much a night owl. Could stay up til 1 or 1:30 if hubby weren't in the pictureand still get up and 7-8 for work, etc. Now, I can't stop yawning!
hulagirl..I'm thinking about waiting til second trimester for telling the families, but it's going to be hard I think. Definitely I don't want the girls to know until then, just in case.
re: nuchal fold scan...I think for us, we may skip this one. We wouldn't choose to terminate a Downs pregnancy, so for us it would only add to worry, I think. Then again, 7 weeks from now, or whenever the time comes, I may change my mind.
