  • There's no point in worrying about something that will never happen, just ignore as above.

And have had the Roxburghe letter today. I have an image of it scanned to photo bucket (with personal details deleted) but can't link it as a new user. But if anyone can tell me how to share it I happily would.

Is the advice still to ignore it?

Has anyone gone to court yet who posts on here for this?

If I was really unlucky and was the first to be prosecuted would I have a leg to stand on in appealing it? What defence should I use?

    What should I expect next?

You don't need to post a pic of a letter we already have a picture of displayed on the top sticky info thread!

The top info thread is for your benefit, surely after coming to this forum in August you are just ticking off each letter that matches our pictures by now? Playing 'PPC snap' with the letters? You didn't just look at one thread I hope? This is one of thousands!

Prosecuted?! It's not a criminal offence!!

Please read the top sticky threads, you would not have any of these questions if you had done so. Nothing has changed, it is not even difficult, it's not a fine and does not affect your credit rating. Ignoring the letters is simple, just like ignoring a series of phishing emails. I have ignored one myself as have most regulars on here. We KNOW it's a scam and that's why we are here!

Still not sure? What about reading this light-hearted thread...

HTH - now please read the stickies and watch the Watchdog video.

I had two Roxburgh letters today for so called contraventions that occurred at Luton Airport in July.
Looks like they have done a "recycling" print run on a batch of old outstanding invoices.
So expect the usual !!!! from Roxburgh pretending to be a Solicitors called Graham White to arrive in due course.

Note if you are reading this Steve Dargonne (Parking Services manager) stop telling lies in your letters about CPR 31 and particularly 31.16 & 31.17 ...you shameless fraudster.

Also what the fcuk does "we would respectively suggest that you refer to " mean ..if you want to write to me may I respectfully suggest you learn English you moron !

    @OP ignore these clowns.

My other half has also received a Roxburghe letter today for an alledged offence in June! I agree that they must have done a print run on an old lists of non payments. Maybe they are getting a bit hard up because people are getting wise to this blatant fraud...?:rotfl:

  • My "Notice of Intended Litigation" came through today.

Anyone else had these? How long do they keep trying before they give up?

  • Hi! We have received today this notice of intended litigation from Graham White Solicitors for £207.25 on behalf of Apcoa Parking. 3 months since "the offense". The funny thing is that it is only the second letter (first one was 2 weeks ago and without a warrant issue fee) ) we receive as we had problems with our royal mail services and I don't know what they are exactly claiming it for but we deffinately paid the 1-pound charge at the airport. But I feel like I don't even want to know what it is for and don't want to appeal. Hope everything said here is true and they are not going to proceed. Don't want to waste my time replying them. Oh, and yes. if the original penalty was £80, that's quite a profit they want to make within 3 months
    Thanks everyone for sharing
  • Following letters from Graham White and Roxburgh, they are now phoning my other half and pestering her. 3 phone calls in 24 hours! She has told them that she wasn't the driver (which is true), that she will gladly go to court with her employer who can produce a record of her attending work at the time of the "incident", that she is under no legal obligation to tell them who was driving the car and if they call again she would report them to the Police for Harrassment.

The lady told her that it was an automated calling system and she could do nothing about it. My other half said to expect contact from the Police to which the lady said she would speak to her boss....

If they were serious about taking people to court, they'd just do it and not keep pestering and bullying people to try and get them to pay up! I can't believe the process is allowed to happen!

That "automated calls" nonsense is just hogwash. Just remind them of the Ferguson versus British Gas case. I think they tried that excuse and were given a beating in court.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
