I'm logging off to make a cup of tea and do my mystery shopping reports before bed. Back tomorrow to talk about weddings :)

Mags I love my boobs and just get a lovely bra on and get them oot!

Kerry thanks but Im having a cider! It is hard to be fab on a budget but not impossible and mind that I EXPECT to do it all myself so that doesn't phase me.

Yep I'm on Groupon Mags but tend to use it for food rather than beauty. X

Spent ages watching the Royal Wedding and all the extra coverage on SKY. It was spectacular. Loved the top part of the dress with the lace but to be honest the skirt was a bit too meringue like for my taste. Pippa's dress was more my style. If I could have Pippas dress with the lace sleeves attached I'd be happy! Loved Williams red jacket and the Queens yellow outfit too.

It was the the pagentry attached to it that I was fascinated by, imagine having the bells ring for 3 hours at Westminister Abbey to announce your marriage, the horses and carriages, the thousands of people lining the streets. WOW.

After the excitement of the wedding today I feel :( tonight. Don't know why. In bed already, looking forward to the papers tomorrow for wedding gossip.

I love all the pageantry too and the way they carry traditions on, like myrtle in the bouquet (been put in royal wedding bouquets for generations apparently) and welsh gold in the rings etc.

Not too keen on the dress either, a bit safe for my liking, maybe I just prefer somethng a bit more slutty :rotfl:I think if I ever got married I'd want my arms on show a bit more because they are my best bits ;)

I think I have a thing for Prince Harry too - there's just something about him :D At my age too!

I like Harry too, he seems fun. Paddy Power was taking bets on him getting drunk at the wedding reception :D

Thanks hun, bit not eventful. I'm just back from my mothers where mostly it rained.

But it's been a historic few days hasn't it.

    Friday-Royal Wedding
Sunday-Beatification of Pope John Paul in Rome (not of any interest to me but still a huge event)
    Monday-Death of Osama Bin Laden

I bought so many papers for wedding news and pictures. Anyone know what day the special edition Hello is out? Pippa appears to have become an overnight celebrity for her fabulous figure.

Just checked my Toluna account, didn't get enough points for a £15 voucher in April -I have 67,124 (need 80,000--Toluna work with stupidly large numbers). I wasn't all that committed to it and didn't always do a survey a day.

I've made some checklists for May as recommended by the Happiness Project lady. While on her site I found a link to a rather interesting blog post, I particularly like the calendar and log book ideas towards the end. Had a look at that blog post and I have to admit a lot of it went over my head (although that could be the g&ts I'm currently working on!) I did like the bit about the log book though. Think I might steal that idea! (for a few weeks at least - it gives me an excuse to buy a new notebook! - have a minor stationary addiction :rotfl:)

No, it's not the G+T's :D a lot of it is a bit wierd but the bits that are good are really good, like the notebook checklists and log book, fake it till you make it (I've seen this mentioned a lot on MSE). I also love:

"Be boring, it's the only way to get work done"

    and

"all the world’s a stage. You need a stage and you need a costume and you need a script. The stage is your workspace. It can be a studio, a desk, or a sketchbook. The costume is your outfit, your painting pants, or your writing slippers, or your funny hat that gives you ideas. The script is just plain old time. An hour here, or an hour there."
