Improving my life in 2011

Got my Hello, wedding edition today, that was really fast. Unfortunately @shoegal there are no pictures of Kates shoes. Maybe OK will have them.
Was looking at the Daily Mail website. Waity Katie has now become lazy Katie. Apparently she wants to be a housewife and will only do public appearances with William who doesn't do that many public appearances because he has another job.
They've printed numbers for how many appearances the Queen, Charles, Camilla, etc do and are pointing out that the only job Kate did since leaving Uni in 2005 was a short-lived part time job at Jigsaw  That makes her sound really bad doesn't it.
And in my less glitzy life I have another powerplate class this evening. I have period cramps which aren't as bad as they have been in the past but I needed to take some painkillers and might need some more before the class. This rather unimportant detail is relevant because I'm kind of annoyed that popping painkillers cancels out the health benefits of attending exercise classes. Bit like the smoker on a juice detox. But I figure it's better than cancelling the class (especially when I want to look like Pippa)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Mags can I ask what you do at the power plate session? I've been using one in a salon and just stand on it, theres a poster of various poses you can do to target specific area but just wondering what if anything else I could do0

Powerplate has an instructor, bit like a personal trainer except it's one trainer and up to 6 people. The trainer demonstrates the position (possibly the ones on the chart) then everyone does the position/exercise for 45 seconds.
You could do some push ups on the plate (hands on plate, feet on floor), lie on the plate (with your back but not head on the vibrating plate and legs up towards ceiling) rest your legs on the plate (back or front ok) keeping the upper half of your body on the floor.
Stand on one leg only and then on the other.
Hope that makes sense:) Tomorrow it's Curves free trial.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Hope Curves went well. I joined before but to be honest I have a fairly low boredom level and it just didn't do it for me. It's meant to be really good if the instructors are good and get into it but the one I went to the instructors just stood around.0

I liked Curves
The instructor I met was amazing but she was the owner so that obviously helped.
@LittleBoots It's not that expensive here, €39 per month and no joining fee just now. Also no requirement to sign up to a contract. They have a vibration plate for which they are only charging €20 for 10 sessions for May. :T These prices do reek of desperation to get some customers in but I'm rather tempted for a month or 2 until I get bored.
Any opinions on the prices? There aren't any on the website so it must vary from place to place. I will definitely pay for the vibration plate but I have another free session to use which gives me a chance to think about it before I pay for anything.
@Kerry How long did you go for? I can't see myself to do it long term but it would be ok for a bit and is much cheaper than powerplate.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Forgot to add I had 2 nice compliments today
A girl on the bus approached me to ask where I got my bag :T The bag in question was a Benetton shopper which I was carrying along with my handbag because I don't have a proper gym bag.
Then the lady at curves said I don't look 32. I was flattered and said thanks but was thinking "Does she say things like this to everyone to make them like it here??" I do work a bit at looking young but I feel about 50 most of the time because I'm so weighed down with responsibilities.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000
