I bet the girl at curves felt pretty awkward too!!
It's like when I go to my gp, she is obese but has to advise people on healthy living etc. Do as I say not as I do kinda thing.
Also lots of overweight nurses who chains smoke during their break. Im a nurse too, try to be healthy, dint smoke but do feel bad telling diabetic patients to avoid choc/sweets etc when I happily pick away during the shift.0 -
But she was the one who started the conversation about weight loss when there really was no need.
I know a nurse who is obsessed with nutrition and healthy eating and anything wellbeing related. She's so perfect for nursing
Can't post a link because I'm typing on the phone but there's a new diary on here called "life at the happy farm" and it's brilliant fun, go read it people, it made me :rotfl:Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
I was thinking of ordering the happiness project...
Does it help you?0 -
It's a great book full of good ideas, it's chatty and easy to read like the diaries on here and has a chapter per month. If you like her website you'll like the book. Enjoy the girls day outTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000

I never know where to start with the website, think I may be better with a book...0

I have that Happiness Project book too. I think the concept is brilliant, and the book is good. I just found it a bit "boring" at times. That's not the best way to describe it - I'm not sure what is. It just didn't engage me the way I expected it to. Might find it and give it another go. I'm pretty sure it's on my way overstuffed bookcase somewhere!
Think I've read the first post on that "Life on the happy farm" thread. Off to find it again!0 -
I bought the Benefit €12 skincare kit this morning. Didn't need it obviously but couldn't resist.
I'm at my mothers now except she's not home yet and her cat is being really bold. The rain is pouring down, I dried him with kitchen paper and now he wants to go out again.
Had a bit of a fright from a speed camera van on the way here too, didn't notice it until I was driving past it because visibility was really bad with the rain. There was lots of traffic and I don't think I was over the speed limit but I'm not absolutely certain.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
Let us know how the benefit stuff is.
The only stuff that works for my fave is Johnsons Clean and Clear, the lotion for spotty teeneagers!
I always had bad skin and thats the only thing that works, everytime I try to move onto grown up cosmetics my skin rejects them!0 -
My fave tinted moisturiser is Nivea Be Young for teenage skin - nothing else is as good for me
The only 'teenage' thing about me!

My skin doesn't really react to anything I put on it although if I'm spending lots I prefer the creams to be anti-ageing which the benefit creams don't claim to be. But benefit would have lots of very young fans so it wouldn't be a brand for anti-ageing products.
The cat is behaving now that my mothers here!Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000
