    Hi everone

Been living in a mobile home for 8 years now.The price of Calor gas has gone up and down considerably.
Would be great if there was a petition to get everyone a good price for propane gas.

I live here in Hampshire and paid £38.85 inc vat, to Calor in Reading. I can only afford one at a time,on a two bottle system
.I am lucky in this respect .I, cook and shower, using electric, the gas used for hot water and heating only..Hate to think how much the neighbours are using. As I think they have a bath and cook by gas eeeeek!!
  • Alderney, Channel Islands - No VAT; 1x47kg Calor Gas refill is £111.65. Luckily, I only use it for cooking.
  • FloGas are charging £65 net of VAT in North East Wales, same as last year. Over the same time price of heating oil has reduced considerably. Thus we are being charged too much. Was there not a move to have all fuels priced at a similar amount per unit of contained heat?

I have just paid £47 ea inc VAT for a 6 bottle delivery,,this is flogas from a new local supplier based South Cheshire/North Shropshire. He advises that his wholesale price has dropped only £3/ea since January 2016. He wont give me a fixed price for remainder of heating season.....I'll be buying at least another 8 before May
  • As most park home owners buy LPG, you may like to post a comment on the Facebook page "I Live In A Park Home" and invite them over here!
  • The last statement shows that we paid £50.21 per bottle in South Oxfordshire. In the last couple of months I have noticed a delivery charge has been added of £2.50 for which we received no prior notification.

In the 12 years we have lived in our house the price of the gas has gone up and down considerably and we never receive prior notification of price change.

Today I have phoned the suppliers to order three bottles and found their telephone number is temporarily unavailable! With snow forecast in the next few days this is a little worrying and when they delivered last time it was 10 days between order and delivery.

I wish the price the suppliers charged was regulated, together with the service I receive, and then I may not feel like I am being ripped off!
  • Wheels can you not find another supplier?
  • £50 delivered on off day but he visits once a week on a Thursday n it's £47 then delivered
  • £50 delivered on off day bt he visits on a Thursday every week n it's £47 then in wisbech cambs bt it's flogas not calor
  • Hi, I've justice got a price today for a 47kG propane lpg gas bottle near St Austell Cornwall and the price they gave me was £57.75. The last one I bought was around £ 40 .I thought it would be much cheaper being fuel prices are lower at the moment. Seems a rip off to me. Hope this message will be helpful. Mike.
