  • Just ordered two from WoldLink Delivery to Wiltshire - £49.95 each which is a £10 a bottle saving on what I was paying. Lets hope the delivery works out well!

46kg Cheshire Gas delivered £60 with exnge bottle

When we moved here in April 2014 it was £116 for 2x47kg bottles delivered and connected by a local chap. Now it is £107 for 2. Usage is just less than 10 changes a year - lasts approximately as follows from end April, 65, 69, 47, 32, 33, 28, 26, 24, 24, 32 days between refills. House is 700mm thick stone-walled 3 bed terraced, but only occasional occupancy either side. Worcester Bosch boiler supplying 8 rads plus shower (rarely use the bath). Electric only cooking, plus a large Morso multi-fuel burner in large lounge-diner. In winter we heat to about 21/22 in lounge-diner, and 15 deg in upstairs (bed)rooms. LPG is only used about 7-9 am and 6-10pm. We are often out in the day and use the Morso of extra heating is needed.
  • Just ordered 2x47kg bottles from Flogas. I am in Wiltshire. Total cost will be £144.86. Last time I ordered (in September) it was £136 for 2 bottles. Why the increase each year? 10 years ago we paid £86 for the same amount. Tired of being ripped off.

Price still at £70 / 47kg delivered & connected on site here but I'm on a holiday park in SW Scotland, so we're paying a premium rate and are not allowed to buy in our own gas bottles or fit them.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

In Kent/Sussex Border we were paying £92 a pair inc delivery from Calor. Just ordered refill - charged £103!! This despite their letter saying the increase would bring it to £94 for the pair. Seems they have added a delivery charge now, which was inclusive before. Trying to find out if the higher charge is correct or a mistake (ha, ha).
  • We've just had to pay £68.50 per bottle plus £5 delivery/fitting here in Leicestershire. Had we have bought them on Monday they would have been £62.50 each timing is everything with gas :( I've surfed looking for cheaper prices but as yet haven't come up with any.

Still £49.99 inc delivery and VAT
  • Hobsons choice here in Adersier (Village north east of Invrrness) I replaced Electric storage with LPG Boiler, Fire & Hob. Love the installation but the prices of 47kg cylinders here is £90 (delivered). I'm investigating a tank but am reluctant to have that eyesore on my property and CG want £1500 to dig a hole!!
