Otterlune get intouch with lpg4u and tell them mike told you

I checked out the lpg4u website for the price for 47kg cylinders - http://www.lpg4u.co.uk/47kg-propane-gas-bottle - and found NO prices. There were no prices in the blog either (Cardiff Gas post their prices in their blog - https://cardiffgas.wordpress.com/about/ though I'm not sure they keep this up-to-date!). The lpg4u website did give a phone number: 0808 141 0515 and says they deliver throughout Lancashire and Cumbria.

This forum is called "47kg Propane Calor Gas Prices - What are you paying?" so can you let us know what their price is, please?

Birmingham Autogas price is now £45 (+ delivery) - see http://www.birminghamautogas.co.uk/price-list.asp

All competition for Calor, Flogas, etc, with their high prices for gas bottles and bulk LPG, is good!

£45??? Geeze, that's exactly half price of what I paid 2 weeks ago! Gas suppliers here (Northern Ireland) are a bunch of theivin' bas*ards

we have now paid £45 inc del for 18 months on a contract that doesn't expire until oct 15,flogas
  • I live in Lancashire on a mobile home site and have been using Calor Gas company for years, it seems like I have been paying well over the odds. I was paying £58 per 47kg bottle and £27 for a calor 15kg butane. I was recommended LPG4U by a friend and I am now saving fortunes, I am paying £45 per 47kg bottle with free delivery and there was no bottle deposit and it is only £15 for a 13kg butane bottle. LPg4U are a very reliable friendly company and they are currently giving the BIG 2 Calorgas and flogas a run for their money. :j

Hi Birmingham Autogas is still £40 for a 47 kg including delivery and VAT. The Twitter feed is more accurate, price list is old.

Delivery usually within Birmingham though unless you use them for your heating needs and live in a 20 mile radius of the post code.

......and if you are in Lincolnshire - or thereabouts - contact Woldlink on 01507 605230 - their price is sub£40.

    So current/recent prices:
Woldlink (Lincs) under £40, Birmingham Autogas £40, lpg4u (Lancs) £45, Castleford Esso (Yorks) £48.....and Northern Ireland somewhere around £90. Just what are you paying?!

Of course all these prices may be going up as the oil price has bounced back up a bit. Yes, even the NI price.......!

Just been quoted £66 for 47kg refill from flogas (more than their website price!). Then £60 from another stockist. Northallerton area.

Been quoted £70 inc delivery and fitting for 47kg on a site in SW Scotland - sounds a huge amount to me compared to you guys who can get it for £45, must ask if we are limited to using their Calor supply on site or if we can compare prices and order from elsewhere. Not many options that I can see.

I purchase my bulk gas from a company called Woldlink but I also purchase my 47KG Propane cylinders through them as well.

The standard price on the 47KG is £42.85 + 5% VAT delivered UK Wide

That is a delivered price of £44.99:) They do request that you order a minimum of two bottles at once. Friend of mine who runs a burger bar purchas like 10 at a time from them and he is paying about £37.95

    There number is 01507 605230

Woldlink offer national deliver although I think the price is about a £1.00 higher for single 47KG

Juliandicks, thank you for the info. I'll contact them to ask about Scottish deliveries.
