    And the true meaning is?

i have reported my neighbour for DLA fraud. I gave my full name, address and phone number in the letter. Are you suggesting I will be punished in some way IF his claim is found to be genuine? BTW said neighbour is complaining about being 'grassed up', which to me suggests guilt and is telling people he knows he was reported for the £500 reward!

Is there a £500 reward? Bonus!

People who purposely make malicious claims should be prosecuted. It's only fair plus they'd have more time to concentrate on actual cases of fraud.

How many people do you know, who are claiming benefits, that you do like?

I do not have a problem with people claiming benefits providing they are genuine. I do have a problem with people de-frauding the system.

To be fair I think we all have a problem with that but it still remains difficult to claim to know everything about someone else's business. Why not concentrate on getting the DWP to put their own house in order and stop the mistakes. Of £5.2billion lost through fraud and mistakes, only £1.5billion is due to fraud.

i compleatly agree. while i would never condone de-frauding the welfare system, people that go out of their way to make malicious reports agains law abiding claiments should be birched! it can cause years of financial and mental strain not to mention a black mark on your file.

I don't think you are understanding. This person told me they had omitted something from their claim. If they haven't done this and are innocent, then they must be suffering from a mental disorder. I am not talking about randomly accusing neighbours of fraud.

Your caring side is all too evident my friend. My husband was sectioned due to his mental health taking a nose dive when he was told we were under suspicion of benefit fraud; he developed severe psychosis and though now home he is a mere shadow of himself, medicated to the eyeballs and unable to take any part in family life. You could be responsible for that. How can you sleep at night?

    Look.

For the record, I am sorry (yes sorry) for your husbands state.

However I fail to see why its my fault or the person that dobbed you ins fault.

You (yes and your husband) asked for state intervention in your lives.

You are therefore reliant on the states rules. If they decide you might have broke them, or suspect it, you can't blame them or anyone else for the investigation.

I am not sure I have disagreed with this. Its like making a false accussation at work, or calling the police for no reason.

That does not mean though that the impact of the level of scrutiny is anyones fault.

The person making the claim has trusted themselves to the state. If you don't want the scrutiny, dont make the claim.

Those claiming correctly and inside the rules have nothing to hide.

I own the horse. No one can take it off me. I don't have to comply with anyones rules to ride it. Nor do I care how I use it or what I do with it. (See my point?)

Out of interest, whats so high about it. Is any of it incorrect?
