    Evening everyone

another late posting from me again.

Niclou2 - sending((hugs)), not much else to add to what everybody else has said but definately get some legal advice.
Ally - ((hugs)) to you too.

Os today not much again as had hair cut & coloured which took over 3 hours and not very ms as at least a fifth dearer in the south. Dw on & emptied. Dinner was cooked by dh, he did prawn cocktail starter & a beef stirfry, very nice it was too.

Db & his fianc!e are still going ahead with the wedding. Her mum has said that she wants it to be a happy celebration as that is what dad would have wanted. The funeral is on Monday, not sure I will be able to stay up north till Monday due to ds2 having school, he has already had the day authorised for Friday for the wedding.

I am still looking for a part time job, getting a bit fed up of being at home. I am a lady who could lunch but no bu**er to lunch with. I am not giving up on making friends and talk to anyone, but as ds2 is older I am not meeting people at school. I do go to a group once a month for SEN parents so next month I'm going to pluck up courage & try arrange to meet inbetween for coffee.

Enjoy the rest of your evening. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care

    Lynne
  • Lynn what you need to do is organise a wee OS mini meet for folk down your way ;) I promise not to come :rotfl:

Jackieg - I'm not too far out of London so all being well will go to the next london meet providing I am not taking ds2 to see his dad the same weekend as it's me that does all the travelling as it was me that moved. If I can't think I may have to do a mini Essex meet, you would be very welcome.

Bramble - just watching news since your post, not seen anything yet.
  • Bramble, I hadn't seen the news until now, that's awful, certainly puts things into perspective.

Day was pretty good today, came home to a nice surprise - OH had cleaned the kitchen, hoovered the whole house, put the "double glazing" type stuff on the downstairs windows and made my dinner when I got in! Just as well - my sprained ankle is still swollen and painful after a week and a half so spent the evening with it up and iced.

My mum is in hospital (she seems to be going in and out at the moment) - she has a lot of trouble with her digestive system since she had a stoma a couple of years ago, hope she is ok - she is up north and I don't have a car :(

Hugs to all who need them, especially to Nic1lou2, hope your hubby is reincarnated as a dung beetle! Hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day for all both literally and metaphorically!

  • NicLou - i dont know you as im a relative newbie really but just wanted to say you are NOT stupid. you did what any good wife would do. My step father was already seeing someone else when he let my mum buy him a car for £800. he took it when he left. Although things are tight money wise, my mum is much happier now 8 months later.

If you can show the debts you have went to pay his debts, he will be joint liable, you simply have to take him to county court. My hubbys ex did this for a couple of car payments she paid for him, and bloody won. The cow! she was just hurt he left her for me, never mind the fact she didnt work the whole time they were together and he paid everything else! GRRRR. anyway, just wanted to show that all is not lost on that front.

Dont be sad, we are all here for you x

ETA - i wasnt a home wrecker, they were just boyfriend and girl friend. We were friends who fell in love! :rotfl:
