Afternoon all! I have tomorrow off!! as it's quiet we have all been given a day off this week as we will make up the hours when it is busy. I want to sort out my kitchen tomorrow as i get my new chairs for our kitchen table on the weekend and want to start inviting people over for dinner.

Still waiting to hear if OH is working away for the rest of the week.

I have been looking through slimming world and WW magazines for meal inspiration. I really want to hit my 7lb target for this month!! So am going to work out once i've chilled out a bit.

The stew for dinner was nearly bone dry when i got in!! told OH there wasn't enough water but did he listen?? No. So added a little to make more of a gravy, had a sneaky taste and YUM it's dead good.

    Good morning all,

I generally just lurk on the daily thread but thought I'd say hello today as I'm home sick :(

Probably going to get very little done today due to whatever bug I have but will need to make some bread and do some laundry. Other than that I'm going to spend to day alternating between knitting and planning lunchbox ideas and meals that can be either completely or partially made for the freezer. My OH got a job (after two years off :D) and is due to start next Tuesday! Very exciting but means I won't be able to force him to make dinner on my late days. :rotfl:

    Anyway, hello!

    Welcome to the daily:j:j

hugs and warm wishes to Niclou and anyone else in need......

Had to to the nearest town today which meant a drive of 45 minutes to do a supermarket shop,,go to the bank and get a puncture fixed in my car......oh just filled tyre with air and I made it with no problem and had an enormous nail removed.

not a very OS day as bought ready made sandwiches and salad home for lunch.....was back home again by lunchtime so managed without spending anymore money....that was only a small on the way town, the proper town is an hour and fifteen minutes away.... sometimes I really dont like living so far away from everything but i suppose its money saving......we just have a small shop here where we live for buying basics.....

hope everyone has a good evening......

    Morning all

Sorry I am posting so irregularly these days but tbh there has been very little OS going on in my life at the moment as other events seem to have overtaken matters entirely.

I haven't been able to talk about it properly because that would make it more real, so have avoided posting. (Deep breath).....OK the problem is that after years of a happy and good marriage, my OH (54) has suddenly decided that he doesn't want to be married anymore and needs his own space as he feels he is missing out on something! I know this is a classic mid life crisis but he has turned into someone that I do not recognise, so nasty one minute, very secretive and cold. He is still in the house for the time being but has been to the bank and opened his own bank accounts etc, is looking for a flat to rent and it is all moving so quickly.

Other than the fact that I am totally devastated as my feelings for him have not changed at all and I do not want this, there is the added consideration that all debt that we have (if you remember we had a terrible year last year with his job, so have gone through all our savings and now have quite a lot of debts) well that is all in my name as he did not have a very good credit rating. I know I have been stupid doing this but I trusted him totally and the recent events are so out of character for him. I do not totally believe him when he says that no one else is involved but he denies this (well I suppose he would)

God I cant believe that I have actually written it down, all I have been able to do is cry although I have tried not to let him see much of that.

On top of all that, my youngest (and last at home) DD moves into a new flat with her BF today, which should have been such a happy time for her (if sad for me) but she has had to stop at my other DDs house for the past 4 nights because of the troubles here - she is obviously furious at my OH and the rows were terrible. So she has not even been able to have her last week at home.

Its all such a mess and so, so sad.

Sorry to unload on you all but I feel so incredibly lost at the moment

    x

Sorry to hear your haveing a hard time at the moment.:A

Hope you feel better soon Julie. :)

I've been fairly healthy today... erm, except for the Wotsits. :o

I haven't done any exercise today, but there's a lot of tidying/cleaning to do at home so I might do some of that tonight to burn some calories off and get the place looking a bit more presentable! :D

    Evening all:j:j

Its felt like doing two days in one today its been that long:eek: Still haome now i just need to decide what we are going to have for dinner.

Iv added 5 or 6 people to facebook since i came in from work. You all do understand taht i dont have a hope in remembering who you all are in real life:D

The photos on my facebook page of the twins are quite old now. The early ones of them were taken in the Neo natal unit. tHe later ones on there are were taken in the summer 2009 they are around a year old on them.

The wedding photo is 6 years old this year. I will add some new photos this week if i get the chance so you can see how big the twins now are. They were such tiny mights when they were born but you would not know it now.

If anyone wonts to be added to facebook then PM me are as one of the others to point you my way on facebook and ill acept you.

    Enjoy:j:j

:D yes you can have the position of Resident Stud(unless Bitsy's DH joins us then you will have some competition;) as Jackie said)

Have changed the bedding since I came in from work, 1 load in the WM just finished ready to hang up. Kitchen floor mopped. We had linguine and for tea(quorn for me) and stirred in some low fat soft cheese. Was quite nice with a big dollop of HP sauce.

Got a day off tomorrow:j got to have 2 new tyres on my car - good job its payday. An expensive week /month for me as DS1 is 21 on Saturday so that will cost us too!

MrsMH - well sone on the weight loss!

    cant remember much else sorry.

have a great evening all x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Hello :)

    sending you all hugs xx

wm has been on and clothes are drying on airer, more
muddy doggy paws = cleaning the floors every few
    minutes or so it seems!!

had a big chat with DD today, I really don't like the way
her BF treats her but she sees him through rose coloured
glasses :( today she was in tears because he had a go at her
for seeing her best (female) friend!! I know I can't tell
her what to do but he is her first BF so she has no one to
    compare him with iykwim.

Dinner is sausages, bubble & squeak and baked beans.

    hugs xx

Did Bitsy metion Mr Bitsy is a HOTTIE? She kept that quiet girls - Halight - gorgeous as I am sure you are, your crown will be in danger if she lets him register here, so we need to watch out for that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Now why would I mention that?! Hey everyone my husband is gorgeous :rotfl: I'd like to keep him as my husband, he has enough female fans on FB ;) Besides given how we were [STRIKE]lusting [/STRIKE]discussing blokes the other day I am not sure Halight would want any more male competition ;) We're his MSE harem :p
No fear of him joining though, he doesn't quite see the fascination with MSE :rotfl: In fact he was pulling my leg about at the meal how we spent all our time talking about MSE forums :rotfl::rotfl:
