Afternoon All,
I got [STRIKE]bailed[/STRIKE] home last night, and spent the evening with the OH and the boys, and kept away for the laptop
The weekend was fab, it was lovely to get away from it all, and meet everyone, even if Bitsy did make a show of usIt was lovely to meet new friends and reinforce the existing ones by meeting in person. Did Bitsy metion Mr Bitsy is a HOTTIE? She kept that quiet girls - Halight - gorgeous as I am sure you are, your crown will be in danger if she lets him register here, so we need to watch out for that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have cleaned the livingroom since I got home from work - OH has manflu again and my patience isn't too good today. Dinner tonight is a fry up I think.
Hugs for Niclou and for Redruby, hope things are a bit brighter today. Photos of the new dog please Tiredmum.

Nic2lou2 - hugs to you. Not sure what to say really but we're here if you need to vent. I know sometimes it's easier to talk to strangers about how you feel rather than your friends. xx
I agree with bramble too, how horrible for you.
Sending big hugs, hope you feel a little better for
at least sharing your problems xx0 -
My sympathies to Niclou and for Redruby.
Well, I managed to get a load of laundry washed and hung up and finished a stripe for the knitted blanket I'm making. I also spent a happy but messy hour making chipotle en adobo (the chili condiment of choice which all people should try) but I am now exhausted and feeling sicker. I know I should just relax when I'm ill but i get so bored. Don't think I'll be at work tomorrow either so I must sit and knit now and not make elaborate spicy sauces!:o0 -
nic1lou2, redruby & bitsybeans *hugs* lots of hugs
JC27023, good luck, hope your interview went well!
Morning all, er, afternoon! Repair man and landlord have been here ages, it's just as well they came back a week later than they said as the holes in the downstairs ceiling started leaking again friday so there is obviously still a problem! And after five months... it's not the roof! It's just a "crink" in a pipe to the washing machine that needs a valve elbow... slightly concerned that the guy fixing it doesn't even know where to buy one and botched up the roof tiles
Not much OS going on today, bit hard when the house is full of ladders, buckets and there's a small polish man hanging through a hole in your kitchen roof! Just as well a friend is insisting on taking me out for sushi tonightLiving cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon All,
Not much OSing today. DH came to the doc's with me in case I couldn't drive home this morning. I had a procedure to try and sort out the imbalance in my right ear. Felt very strange, but fingers crossed it will work. Then as he only had half a days work I went with him and we ended up going out for lunch. As I said Not very OS but lovely to spend some time together:)
Have decided not to go to WW anymore. Firstly I can't afford it, secondly I am ten times worse, I seem to get obsessed by food. Just going to eat healthy and exercise as much as I can:o
JC- good luck with the interview
NicLou- so sorry you're having a tough time, ((((hugs))))
Have a good day everyone xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

That's nice that you had lunch with your DHI hope what the doc did sorts out the imbalance.
Well I am the same when I'm at a diet group, and I lost a few pounds just by eating healthily and doing exercise before Christmas. Unfortunately a couple have gone back on since then!So I'd like to be healthier again, I have a lot to lose!
If you need a diet buddy, let me know!0 -
Afternoon all,
Bread made and half gone already;)
Made soup for lunch with yesterday's veg, gravy & beef leftovers - it was scrummy.
Need everywhere to warm up so we can get into the garden but it looks like it's going to get colder as the week goes on:(
Hope things improve for the many with problems, hugs and high fives as appropriate, Silver xOutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

speaking personally i find it almost impossible to lose significant weight unless i do some real heart beating exercise(at a gym)--i lost over 2 stone last year and got down a good weight by dieting and going to the gym--i havent put any on but i havent been able to lose any since i ceased going to the gym--my diet is calorie restricted and healthy (almost veggie) and just 1 drink a week!--i dont need to lose anymore but the perfect weight is 5lbs away!--im 5 9 and 11stone 5lbsmfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

Afternoon All
Niclou (hugs).....hope you feel better soon.
Work this morning after a lovely weekend meeting OSers, but I'm pleased with what I did today.
Realised that my aim this year is to try new things so I have booked guitar lessons.
And taken up my GP's offer of a referral to the gym.
Right that's enough for this week!
Did the shopping this afternoon so pasta with sliced smoked sausage in a tomato sauce for tea.
Take care all.
