Nic1Lou2-I'm so sorry you are going through this. As others have said, you certainly aren't stupid - you did what was right at the time and had no reason not to use your name with its better credit rating. In the meantime, chin up, shoulders back and you put on lipstick girl everytime you leave the house. That was my sister's advice to me when I went through my break-up and I even had it reported back to me that my ex-H said he had never known me so strong (and we'd been at school together). You don't know yet what will happen so just take things a day at a time but try to put yourself first. (((hugs))).
Halight - glad you are feeling better today. Hope work goes ok for you.
Hester - hope you have a better day at school today.
Bitsy - hope the pain goes soon.
So many chums on here who are in pain or are feeling low. Hang on in there. Brighter days are coming.
Big wave :hello: and welcome to newbies. You won;'t be newbies long in here:dance:.
Left over mince and tatties +veg for tea.
Off to sort out a load of whites. Need to have a quick dust and hoover and possibly clean the bathroom but I'm not guaranteeing that. Maybe just a quick wipe round:cool:.
    Take care folks

    Afternoon all,

Damp and foggy here....still in dressing gown as had a few things to do on pc which just escalated so I am still here....will shower and dress soon...promise!

Steak, mushrooms, onions and wedges for dinner to-night, not going for pudding as could do with getting out of the habit, will have an apple.

Washing to be done....2 bedrooms need tidying, beds changing and curtains rehung, but I'm COLD.

Nic...hugs to you and please feel free to pm me at any time for a rant....very good for you at present time.

DD3 on her way to visit DD2 and DS2 in London....Aer Lingus flight only 3 hours late currently so she is still in Dublin airport and not happy....give me Ryanair every time!

Collecting DGS2 from school to-day....he does all his 'oral' homework in the car on the way home and the written stuff as soon as he comes in the door...not sure how DD4 has managed to get him into this frame of mind, but its wonderful, no nagging necessary.

Welcome to all newbies, hugs to all in need and congratulations to anyone who is celebrating

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Morning all! :hello:

I hope everyone who went to the meet at the weekend had fun!

I brought my lunch in today, dinner will be something HM, not sure what yet. I was going to go for a walk at lunchtime, but it's gone grey outside now, so I'm going to the pub with my friend instead. :)

I had a funny weekend really, I've just been feeling a little :( I'm trying to cheer myself up though. Might do a bit of tidying tonight as we're in a bit of a mess and that might be contributing to it.

Ooo one OS question, I'll go and search for an answer too, just wondered if anyone knew here, I have a light brown stain round the plughole of a bathroom sink. Scrubbing won't get rid of it, and I tried washing powder last night, but it's still there. Do you think it sounds like limescale? If so, any tips on how to get rid of it? It looks like a dirty sink, but it isn't! :o It's also just under the taps too.

nic1lou2 - so sorry to hear about your husband's behaviour. Don't feel silly at all, how were you to know? Sending you great big (((hugs))). :)

flutterbyuk25 - let us know how the hypnotherapy goes and good luck for the date! :T

    ally18 - sending you (((hugs))) too. :)
  • I've just searched on the indexed collection and white vinegar could be my answer! :) Do they sell that near the brown vinegar in supermarkets? :o Please excuse my ignorance! :rotfl:
