Serious? Did I miss something? Kangaroo?
Bought it as highly recommended on various forums due to high meat content, bough fish and chicken and beef - hmmmmm

Yup, the pouches are kangaroo, ostrich and buffalo meat lol

I think people get confused over this "high meat content" stuff, I've seen it mentioned before on this forum. One might claim to contain 80% meat whilst for example Felix claims a minimum 4% but the 80% meat does not contain pure meat muscle, it also contain derivatives such as organs, skin, bone, tissue etc in similar proportions. It's just the labelling criteria isn't as strict abroad so they often don't mention it, although I notice this Animonda Carny stuff does say meat derivatives too.

If it actually contained 80% "pure" meat it would have a far higher protein content than 11% ;)

Oh, I did not get the pouches, tinned food and no kangaroo in there (I hope) just chicken, beef, fish.. I hope LOL

But as it turned out I do feed the Butchers (did not know it was butchers) and this made no difference anyway :(

So, apart from Butchers - what else could I try as wet food for them?

    :(

It sounds as though you're feeding them a bit of a mishmash of different foods rather than sticking to just one type which could actually be a contributing factor.

As you've discovered there can be numerous causes of tummy upsets & diarrhoea and if you've ruled out medical reasons with your vet then it's likely to be dietary but you really do need to give each specific food a chance to work to the exclusion of all else.

Do the affected cats have access to your dog's food or go outdoors where they could pick up scraps at neighbours? It may even be caused by stress!

None of my cats go out, we live in a flat and they have only last week completed their vaccinations (bokked for spay/neutering for ther 8th Feb) - I will be taking them out on a harness when they are bigger, we have a nice communal gardens here.

Stress? Not likely, they absolutely adore the dog LOL

Not necessarily the dog causing stress, more likely the number of cats you have. Stress is common in multi-cat households particularly when confined indoors. Symptoms vary widely and not always obvious to the untrained eye. Have you ever used a Feliway diffuser? It might be worth a try.

They eat/sleep/poo together - doubt they stress one another...

Has anyone used this one or any other silica cat litter please?

How deep you need to fill the litter box with silica gel ?
How do you know when to change it if it does not smell/does not clump?

Any of the crystals are good.
    I like CityCat (Sainsburys) best.
    Use the cheapest of them.
