Cat litter - 4 indoor only cats

Hi guys,
I've tried all kinds of litter but the best one I've tried is Worlds Best Cat Litter. It does what it says on the tin. I have 2 indoor cats and use this litter. It is a clumpling litter and made from whole kernel corn, 99% dust-free and contains no clays, silica dust, synthetic binding or dust reducing agents. It is also flushable, however I dont flush it down the loo.
It is a lot more expensive than most other litters, however, I think it is worth the extra money, it clumps really well so you only scope out the soiled litter and it lasts for ages so it is probably just as good value for money as cheaper litters as your not using as much. I've attached a link below so you can have a look and decide for yourselves but I would defo recommend this litter to anyoneand if you order the large bag from pet supermarket you get free delivery.
Oh, apparantly Im not allowed to post links as a new user but you if you go to petsupermarket.co.uk and search for Worlds Best Cat Litter you can get all the info there.

We have just rehomed two 7 month girls and we have a covered Argos tray. Cats Best seems so much cheaper - does it really last as long for 1/3 of the price??
Thanks
a) Cats best is made from wood
b) Worlds best is made from corn
I use a) because the greedy one of my two ate some of b) & I was disgusted! Unfortunately she is naturally inquisitive & I also caught her eating some of the silica gel type of litter too (silica is ok if you are leaving them for a long period, say a wkend, my two do not like it as it is not as absorbant as well as they prefer used litter that is removed regularly). I mix a) with cheap fullers earth from Aldis or Liddles to cut costs.
Silica gel types litter get yellow and I have never left it down for the prescribed month as puddles form in the bottom of the tray, smells start 2 permeate (from the liquids I do obviously removed the solids frequently) & the cats are not keen either - who can blame them if there is a chance of getting wet feet & an ammonia smell. I use it as a back up for periods away from home & think that's it's best use not as an everyday litter.0 -
I use Oko Plus and find it does get everywhere, but I got a covered tray which stopped them kicking it out the back and sides, and positioned the tray with the opening facing the wall so they have to jump out of the corner and over the tray. Where they jump and kick their feet, they kick off the excess litter which means the bits everywhere-ness is largely now confined to my bathroom
Gettingready, I had a thread on here about 2 years ago stressing about my cats diet as one had the runs permanently. It took me until he was nearly a year old to find food that worked for him. He has Fish4cats dry and Butchers Classic wet and we now have no problems with him having the runs. We eventually worked out that he is allergic to all grains and chicken, so all the prescribed foods from the vet and foods aimed at sensitive stomachs actually aggravated him. We did the chicken and rice test too and it still came out like water, the vet said at that point it was probably just the way he was, but I kept on trying him on other foods. It did take around a month to show improvement though, and I only kept up with the food that long because I bought a 7.5kg bag! None of the cats liked it at first but they soon gave in and ate it when it was the only thing on offer and they got hungry.Mummy to

Thank you. I think I will try the Oko Plus Cats Best then when this bag of World's Best runs out. So long as I can still flush the clumps and it doesn't smell too much I will be happy! There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0

At the moment they have small tin of animoda carny between them in the morning and another one in the evening OR half a tin of PAH own in the morning and the same in the evening.
Daytime they have dry food (Go Cat mixed with Taste of the Wild) available all day and water.
They get very little wet food as I would really prefer to keep them on dry but Fred will NOT touch it.
.......
Never heard of animoda carny so can't comment. But please bin the Go-Cat. I don't know of very many cats that eat Go-Cat and don't have the runs! Although I'm sure someone will say they have a cat that's absolutely fine on it
Emlou2009 is spot on with Butchers Classic. It's the best hypoallergenic food for cats. It's the equivalent of Chappie for dogs. Find a grain free dry food to complement if you can. I know you like to buy online so you should be able to find something suitable if you shop around. It will take perseverance though, 10-14days just isn't long enough to combat long term digestive problems but the benefits are well worth it for you and the cat if you do. Good luck“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Chameleon,
Animoda carny is a very good cat food - they just do not seem to like it very much, pity really...
Go-Cat - ordered in bulk when I went into panic/hoarding mode so have quite a lot at home but it is mixed with Taste of the Wild (tried Burns and Orijen and the cats would not have it). They seem to actually LIKE Go cat... sigh..
It is the 2 boys that have the runs, not the girls - one of the boys does not touch any dry food at all so I doubt it is the Go Cat...
All 4 booked for spay/neutering on the 8th.... My little furbabes0 -
Emlou - thanks for that.. will have a look.
Exactly what my vert said "they may just be like that" - sigh....0 -
Butchers Classic wet
This one?
If this is this one, this is what my lot are getting, I did not even realised it is Butchers as I got it from PAH and somehow assumed it was PAT own food.
On PAH website it soes not say it is Butchers...

I googled Butchers classic and this came up, this is the same I have at hoe... INteresting....
If this is the one, they have been eating it for the past 2 months or so.. with Animoda Carny from time to time.
So that mens this would not help either... hmmmm0 -

Ok, looked it up and found it on Zooplus. Wonder whether my cats would fancy eating kangaroo, ostrich & buffalo? Not sure what makes it so much better than any wet food produced in the UK though. It actually has less protein content than Felix.

Serious? Did I miss something? Kangaroo?
Bought it as highly recommended on various forums due to high meat content, bough fish and chicken and beef - hmmmmm0
