Big welcome to the newbies, how lovely the thread is so busy... They do say there's a baby boom!
Had my 16 week appt today and heard heartbeat, so wonderful! Midwife was lovely and answered all my questions. I'm wondering if I might have a uti, might just be paranoid after being called back for repeat urine test this week, but things don't feel quite right! Fine when I wee, but a bit uncomfortable other times. Hopefully hospital result will come through soon, or if things feel worse, i will go to GP.

Due to medical issues I will be induced or require a section so not much flexibility around the birth. To be honest as long as baby and I are safe and well thats all that matters to me.

I wasn't going to buy a pram/buggy as I am planning on mainly using a sling but I did get a preloved Silver Cross which is pretty but I have no idea really how practical it will be. Going to get a stretchy sling and a Becco Gemini or an Ergo.

Clothes are not something I am planning on buying a lot of especially as the gender of our baby will be a surprise. We are lucky though in that a lot of our friends have passed on clothes to us :D

Star - I had people in work asking if it was planned and some were even shocked that I was pregnant...I think they see me as the baby, all blokes except 2 women that I work with, and all in their 40's - 50's, so at 26 I really am the baby of the team :)
