I told my head VERY early (I was about 6 weeks I think!) before she finalised the lists, so I have been very lucky with my class. If it had been last year it would be a different story!!!
Completely understand why you're leaving at Christmas... I did consider it!
TGI Friday tomorrow hey!First date 10.2.2002

I told mine before summer too... No such luck
I'm struggling to spend all day leaning over tables/sitting on carpet/standing at the board as it is now! No hope!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Thank you for the lovely welcome!
Loving the bump pics girls, mine still looks like I ate one too many pies but am secretly looking forward to getting a bump0 -
Hi, mind if I join you all :j
Had my scan yesterday and was dated at 12 weeks exactly, due date now 17th April. Couldn't believe how active baby was, it's amazing all that is going on and I'm unaware of it.
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all over the next 12 weeks and getting a bump0 -
Good Morning Ladies and bumps of varying gender
Had our second anamoly scan yesterday and suprise suprise, little madam was still being an awkward little thing so it took twenty minutes of very hard poking and lying on side, emptying bladder, being tipped up, for the sonographer to see all she wanted. we got there in the end though and so now little miss has the all clear :j
In a way I don't mind it taking so long though, it was my sister who came with me and she clearly loved every minute of seeing her
I'm too clumsy for high heels so live in ballet pumps in the summer and flat boots in the autumn/winter
I think it's hard to predict with a first baby when you should finish work, as you don't know what being heavily pregnant feels like for you and some women sail through and some don't
welcome to Debs, lovely to see another one over here
Becca have a look to see if there's any local pages on fb for prams - you'd think if you were buying second hand you'd get one that had been used for a yearish, but there seems to be plenty of women who change their pram frequently - I know of one who was saying that she's had 10 prams across her 2 children! so you might be able to get a bugaboo for a fraction of the cost but nearly new!
tummy and hips are sore today from all the prodding yesterday. only worked 1/2 day all week cos of moving and then scan yesterday afternoon but boy am i glad it's Friday :rotfl:
oh and how's this for good timing...completed on house last Friday, on Monday I'll be getting my letter saying my post is at risk of redundancy. really glad we pushed them to complete when we did, otherwise we would have had to tell mortgage company and they might have withdrawn their offerLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Another round of hospital appointments today. I am delighted that they are keeping an eye on me however it is draining constantly trooping back and forwards. Also been told conflicting info about the size of my bump. The midwife said I was measuring bang on dates and my GP commented that my bump was very large for my dates, sigh. I think I will go with what the midwife said and wait until my next measuring scan.
At least I have stopped feeling ill and am back to just tired. Please tell me that I am not the only one now living in a reasonably untidy housejust too tired to keep it as I would like it.
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I am ridiculously lucky in that my OH is a neat freak so keeps our flat looking at least presentable, if not Mother Inspection ready at all times!
Without him the place would be a dump though as I'm just too tired to help out. He even got up with me this morning (I usually leave him to sleep an extra hour as I keep him awake a lot with my roly poly sleeping!) and made me a nice breakfast!
Welcome Debs! 12 week scan is so bizarre isn't it, all that movement and you had no clue what was going on!
Glad your little miss got the all clear Team Lowe!Sorry to hear about the redundancy risk though, sucks.
At least you're right in that you're lucky it happened after you completed on the house!
Rummer, I'd be tempted to listen to the midwife about the size of your bump, they're the ones who deal with pregnancies on a daily basis!
You know that they say that 18 degrees is an ideal temperature for baby's room, is it just me or does that feel really cold?! We bought a Dreampod sleeping bag thingy and it came with a thermometer so popped it in the baby's room to see how warm it was (since we don't have the radiator cranked up in there it's not as warm as the rest of the flat) and it's 18 but feels way too cold, I wouldn't be happy sleeping in there!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Having refereed as usual at game night on Wednesday I thought I would be fine, only did the game and not the additional quarters played and whilst it has been a couple of month since I did a full game I would have thought I was fine. Got a feeling like I was being kicked in the kidney afterwards though! That said yesterday my legs felt tight and today they are even worse, I just can't get comfortable!
We're off to Stoke on Trent tonight for the first tournament of the domestic league. Can't wait to see my little rugby family plus instead of going to the local carvery for tea bf and I are going to call at Harvester a little way down the M1. We will be eating in a Harvester on Saturday too but I don't mind, especially since at the minute they have a deal where for £9.99 you get your main with unlimited salad bar, an unlimited soft drink and one of their 'sundae best' ice creams! And, as I'm not as fussy as bf, I'll get something different each night
Last night I looked more pregnant, I think I have a nocturnal bump! It's little and really only known/seen by me most days then pops out at night! Now I just wish I'd start to look almost 4 months pregnant
