WARNING: Pregnant women develop baby brain!!!
Last week I drove all the way back from Bournemouth without my handbag containing 2x mobile phones, house keys, purse....
This week I've gone to take £20 out the ATM and ended up leaving it in the machine! I took my card though. I have never, ever done anything so stupid before. On the phone to HS8C now to see if there's anything that can be done.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

In our DD nursery we had a cot, changing table and Trofast storage units from Ikea. We decided against the baby wardrobe as there was nothing that needed to be hung up.
This time we are going to use the Trofast again as it was fabulous and we are going to get a Malm chest of drawers.
Wall stickers are a lovely way to brighten the room and I think we are going to go for a circus themeTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Being very non MSE :money: and just booked holiday for September (will be 22 weeks)! We figured we didn't have budget for new car, nursery, and extra DIY, so we dropped the DIY. Then booked a holiday, oops!! Been a while since beach holiday and will look forward to a relax before we gear up for baby's arrival.fran-o0

Oh dear!! I haven't been that bad, but I do walk upstairs and then get to the top of the stairs and forget what I went for, go back down and usually remember then!!
kerri_dfw I didn't get proper nursery furniture. I bought a big chest of drawers and a wardrobe from Ikea. It was cheap and holds all of her millions of outfits.
We were given a rocking crib by a friend as she had been given it by her friend. It was like brand new as it can only be used up to 6 mths anyway. I only used it for a couple of months as she didn't seem to like it too much, she liked the rocking, but not the fact that she couldn't see us.
The cot bed we got from Mamas and Papas and it's really sturdy, MIL and her partner bought that. I think I might see if I can get the cot top changer for the next baby, we didn't need it for DD1 as we had a dedicated changing room!! It wasn't supposed to be, but somehow she managed to take over the spare room with all her nappy stuff!!!
I ordered my pram when I was about 30 weeks I got the Uppababy Vista, my parents offered to pay for that. It's quite big, but I love it as it's so easy to steer. I can do it one handed and still talk on my phoneDH likes it as it looks very manly!
My back is killing me, I had to go up to bed early last night as my back was in half. I think it might be the sofa as I'm fine sitting in work?!?
Hope everyone is okay, I'm just popping in to say hello as this thread is more welcoming than the scary big girl threadGot married 13/11/10

Aw Lola thanks for stopping by
I had some excruciating pain yesterday which must have been more stretching. It started in Sainsbugs and lasted all the way through making dinner got to the point I had to get OH to finish mixing the sauce in the pasta and serve as I couldn't stand up. Sitting in knees tucked position was much more comfortable than standing, so either it was stretching or she was in a funny position. OH and I had fun watching my tummy making weird shapes last night too, he went "WOAH!" when he saw her doing it at first.
Welcome Catty and congratulations on the bumpDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Welcome Catty!
I can't wait until I can feel kicks and see movement Kerri! I think my OH will be hugely freaked out though, he has to properly psych himself up to touch my belly as it is because it's hard and not soft and squishy like it used to be!
Great news about getting a holiday booked Fran! You'll have a wonderful time, just you and your OH I'm sure!
Less than 2 weeks until my holiday, I'm super excited! Going to go through my holiday wardrobe and pick out what actually fits this week! Not sure it'll still fit at the end of the fortnight after I've eaten my body weight several times over though!
Still not sure what's going on with our other friends who are coming with us (one day they've broken up, the next they're back together, then it's off again etc etc, I can't keep up!). We're just treating it like we're going on holiday just the 2 of us and they happen to be going to the same place, if they annoy us we'll go off on our own and s0d them! Nothing can spoil my last baby free holiday!

Welcome Faithhope
congratulations.
Jemb - I called up the bank they said keep an eye for 48hrs, if it doesn't show up (it was natwest but an HSBC account) then phone back and they'll raise a dispute.
Birdie, I wish I had a holiday booked, I wouldn't worry about the couple and don't let them spoil your holiday together this is your time off as wellIf they kick off, just go out without them.
AFM - I've just done some more of the cutting in of the baby's room, it needed a second coat as the OH said it wasn't good enough. Have done half the room again and will do the other half tomorrow as the paint makes me feel quite sick. I've got a really naughty !!!!! cat at the moment who keeps peeing where he's not meant to in the new house, mostly when the OH tells him off or shuts him out of a room where he wants to be (the cat not OH). We're going to put fencing stuff up in the garden next weekend so they can enjoy our garden safe from cars and other !!!!! cats hoping that'll improve his demeanour. I am never having another bengal, although he is a lovely teddy bear when he chooses to be it's more naughty teenager than loving cat.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
