Why's that starshinning? To be honest, I've fallen out with my mum and sister and don't speak much to my brother, it upsets me, but at least I've got OH and his family are lovely to me. I've barely told anyone I'm pg, even my close friends as they are single and child free and late 30's and have their own problems at the moment. I'm very happy to be pg so try to look to every positive I can. Hugs to you x
  • We did get on really well. I is my mum mainly she is not at all happy about the pregnancy and is now impossible to talk to and refusing to have anything to do with DD2 and says the same will go for the new baby :( find it heart breaking :( I am happy to be pregnant but it does come with concerns and worries (even though it is a much wanted baby) my DD2 has a complex heart defect and has had open heart surgery and will need more in the future for that reason (and apparently my house is to small) we should not be having any more children according to my mum :(
Just take each day as it comes. :)

She sounds worried about you but it's your life and your choice to expand your family. Sorry about your DD2 but I'm sure they will be over the moon about a new brother or sister. I live in a one bed flat so that's definitely too small! Spend time with supportive people and don't let anyone get you down.
  • strugging to find supportive people. I have told my 2 sisters and 4 friends and only one person said congratulations :(

Might just hang her you can all be happy for us :)

Thanks Amy :A I'm really, really hoping the staff will be understanding and supportive. I have anxiety about being in the hospital alone :o

Been in a fair bit of pain the last 24 hrs, around the bump and pelvis and back. If I hadn't felt MiniZee kicking before now (and over the last 24 hrs) I would be terrified tbh! _pale_ As it was I've been almost holding my breath waiting for the kicks to reassure me  I'm guessing it's all "just" everything stretching etc, but it's bloody sore! Hope it doesn't keep me up too much longer... Why does nobody trek you about these painful stretch outs?? Or is it just my conditions exacerbating the pain?? (My hip did slip out at the same time, when I was trying to get comfier, just to complicate matters :p)

Hope you find some support star

Glad you've patched things up kerri

Hope the house goes through with no further delays teamlowe

Have you had your 20wk scan now lily?

    Forgotten everything else now :p

Hope today is less painful for you BZ.

Sorry family aren't being supportive Star. I'm at the other end of the scale where they're all a little too excited and it's doing my head in a little! I don't need to give my MIL a daily update on the state of my bump, surely?! It's just going to get worse once the baby's here!

I'm been craving milk too, but mainly cheese! Can't get enough of it! :o

Was well and truly spoiled for my birthday yesterday :) I now have some love pj's which is what I asked for :D M&S don't you know! My parents came to surprise visit me and took us out for dinner which was lovely, I was born on their wedding anniversary. Lots of lovely kicks from bump yesterday, even though I'm sure she did a massive stretch in the morning and held it for what felt like half an hour as it was quite painful. Bought some new curtains and blinds in Ik3a as well to get rid of these horrid grey ones and Dad is going to come up and help me paint the house yay :D

BigZ, I get the stretching pains...it's just something they don't tell you. They were so painful I was in tears when we were moving as the part just below and in between the ribs bit was stretching and I was sure I'd done something to hurt baby by packing boxes, turns out a few days later bump was starting to show in that part. I think that's where threads like this help though as you can get reassurance from people going through it at the same time :) My sister didn't even remember and her youngest is 18mnths.

It's a grey day today so I'm going to be painting baby's room and putting up the blinds/curtains I bought.

Starshinning - we're always here if you need someone to talk to xx

Hugs to those that need them :) xx
