BigZ big hugs, I'm sure you'll be fine but that's easy for me to say
Kerri sorry to hear of your troubles, hopefully some time will help your partner get his head together.

Had some reassurances from my sister about my bump- hers grew from the top rather than the bottom and she did say 'oh you've popped out' so I feel much better now that baby is actually growing
After getting all excited, we're not exchanging on the house like I thought we was but have a suggested completion date of 20 September. I have a bad feeling/paranoia about this chain so I really hope it goes through, I want my own home to nest in!
DH's birthday today so off out for steak, pity it has to be well done but oh well, that's how I used to like my steak anyway

Hi all, can I join you? I had my first scan today and have been dated at 13+5, EDD 13th Feb 2014 :)

Can't believe I've made it this far. Next scan is 30th Sept.

I don't have any symptoms, just a big round belly already as baby is 7cm and I have a fibroid measuring 6cm!

Feeling a little better, have gone and bought lovely pale yellow paint for baby girls bedroom and put a sample of it on the wall, love it :D Also bought lime green (that'll teach him for upsetting me) for the top half of our dining room (south facing) and a cream for the bottom half :D A lovely pale blue/green for the spare bedroom and a white for the living room, need to go back for the dark red when the sofa fabric swatch arrives :D The green is very green but I'm very happy with it, it'll really liven up the room and look fab in there.

Going to go to Ikea this evening to avoid any conflict, fed up of staring at horrible grey walls and grey curtains. Going to buy black-out blinds to replace our sheers in here and some sheer white curtains, will look lush for just £60 :)

Grr, I typed an enormous reply earlier which has obviously been lost and now I'm away from home and on my phone.... I just wanted to send lots of love and hugs to all the ladies who need them atm and let you know I'm thinking of you. Will be away for a couple of days at a funeral so may not be able to reply for a little while, but have much to report on my return!

    Take care,
    Amy xx

Hope you enjoyed your dinner with your OH last night TL. :) We're going away for a night on Saturday to our 'happy place' (Northumberland coast :)) and we always visit the most amazing steak restaurant but I don't know if I can bear to have a well done steak when I normally like them medium-rare! Might be a good opportunity to try one of the other fantastic looking dishes from the menu! :o

Glad you're feeling a bit better Kerri, sounds like the whole house is getting a face lift, will be lovely when it's all done! OH is colour-phobic and thought we were going crazy by having a warm cream on the walls rather than builder's white! ;) When I papered one of the walls in our living room (kind of flowery with bits of blue in) I did it all without him even knowing it was happening as I knew he'd try to talk me out of it! He loves it now, but says one wall with colour on in the flat is more than enough! :p

Lovely to see you here Jox and Jenni-fer!

Looking forward to hearing your update Amyloofoo, been wondering where you've been! :)

AFM, I'm so tired today. :( I just couldn't get comfy all night and even though I couldn't really feel much (maybe a bit of butterflies at times?) I could just tell that the baby was going mad. Hoping I can stay awake all day! :o

Thanks for all the welcomes :) I hadn't slept for days before the scan yesterday so crashed out last night at about 10pm and didn't get up til 7.30am, what happened to my million trips to the loo in the night?

The tube was typically packed this morning, I had to let 4 trains go on the Victoria line, not sure how I will cope with a bigger bump!

welcome to Jox, lovely to see you over here :)

Birdie it was great thanks, I couldn't bare to ruin such lovely looking steaks by having it well done and honestly the menu looked lovely to my head but too rich for my tummy so i ended up with a butty and chips! lol

After yesterday's reassurance I'm now paranoid again as belly looks and feels smaller today, although maybe that's cos I slept on my tummy accidentally and probably pushed baby back in lol

Today i have a strange feeling, not quite a headache but not quite right, can only describe it as feeling naseous in the back of my skull. hope it doesn't get worse this afternoon, i have to drive 30 miles home, it can do what it likes once i am home though lol

Hi TL- I can empathise with the bump thing. Some days it feels huge, bloated and impossible to ignore, other days (like today) I can walk around forgetting about it.

Had a weird dream last night where I was practising breastfeeding on a monkey toy that I had when I was a kid. Then I had a newborn baby and had to go into work - my boss shouted at me for being late in. Odd.

Got my NCT membership through now, am doing their antenatal classes in Nov/Dec. Will be good to meet local new mums, I have a few friends who are SAHMs but as I don't drive meeting people who are local will be good. Is anyone else doing NCT?
