Congratulations on Team Blue lippy! :)

Congratulations for getting to v-day KScarlett! :)

Got our letter for Downs screening, 1 in 50,000 so feeling quite relieved. :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Yes I was nervous. No idea why lol.Either way as long as it's happy and healthy it shouldn't matter, but I know what you mean :)
I'm honestly swaying neither way, just nerves have kicked in!

  • Sorry I haven't been on recently, my DD moved into her big bed this week so has been a little bit later with bedtime etc, and I've been so tired I've been going up not long after her . Rock n roll!

vic and KScarlett congrats on V-days, how does it feel to be 3rd trimester?!

lippy :j for team Blue! I'm glad there are lots of you who are just as impatient as I am! Only 2 and a bit weeks til my 20 week scan :D

kerri_dfw both of my DH's parents died when he was in his teens, but I'd certainly not be allowing MIL to be around for the due date. I'd have thought you'd have got out of doing Xmas dinner this year, too, with being 39 weeks pregnant and all :rotfl: Hope your DH can talk to his mum, especially in view of you wanting a home birth. One of the main advantages to that (IMO) is being able to spend the hours immediately after baby's born snuggled up in bed as a family. I hope that doesn't get spoilt for you :o

Birdie vivid dreams are awful aren't they, I hate the ones where everyone is acting EXACTLY like real life, and sometimes they make me inexplicably cross with that person for what I've seen they'd potentially do / say in a given situation! I haven't had any good'uns yet, but with DD I dreamt that I needed an emergency C - section, but when they cut my tummy open, there was no womb or baby - my bump was just half of a giant orange! The segments were really hard to get out and DH just said "So is that a clementine or a Satsuma?" :rotfl: (he always asks what the difference is when we have "little oranges"!)

Lily hope whatever's going on at home works out for you, and I hope your little one continues growing - perhaps she's just going to be a petite little dot!

AFM nothing to report, still very little in the way of bump, still not really feeling pregnant, still pretending I'm finding it all really hard (mostly to get out of housework :p)

Thanks for asking. It feels fab! 3rd trimester starts at week 28 though, so still 3 1/2 weeks left of trimester 2!
Good luck with your scan in a few weeks; will you be finding out which team you're on? Will be lurking! X

V day feels fab! I was so scared with bleeds/ etc that I wasn't going to get there but I made it! For the past 2 weeks I've felt very tired again and very achy. I think its baby's position as she's very low down so making my SPD worse. Cant wait to go for a soak in the bath later. x

Mince pregnancy is the perfect excuse to put your feet up and forget the housework :)

  • Silly me, I thought each one was 12 weeks - and that the third one was longer because you're technically at term from 37 weeks?! Oh well, glad you are feeling well :D

That would make perfect sense! I use this. 110 days left sounds incredibly short to me lol!

    Hello Ladies :j

I am just thread jumping from the less than 12 weeks thread - I am 11+1 and am just wondering if you have any recommendations for maternity bras?

I am now at that stage where I need to go shopping! I live in a small market town with too many charity shops and a small m&s so I would need to travel to Manchester, Chester or Liverpool (all about 40 mins away) to shop. Can you recommend any shops for me to try - Even any online websites would be ok too?

Many thanks in advance and I will see you all in a few weeks!

You'll need to go and get measured as I went from a nice C cup up to F!! :eek:Online is not much good unless there is somewhere local you can get measured and then order online.

I got some from M&S and Mothercare. I'm not sure which ones I prefer, they are both comfy. Also don't get too many as you might need to get a different size by the end of your pregnancy/when you've had the baby.
