that doesn't sound too bad Birdie, bet the baby didn't mind his comfy drawer lol

I'm quite lucky in that my MiL mainly ignores DH, although funnily enough she's still managed to miff me off...we had our 12 week scan on 22 July and we told her that she could then tell DH's sister (she knew after 7 week scan) and DH's sister has said f all to us about it, so when DH checked she'd been told his MiL said she had been but also told not to mention it to their dad (who we've cut off all ties with) or mention it on facebook.
I know she was just doing what she thought was best but it really upset me, like my baby is something we should be ashamed of when I'm so happy and so proud of him/her already

I got my down syndrome screening test back - 1 in 450 which whilst not high risk isn't exactly as low risk as other numbers and it sent me in a worry spin :s
Going to watch Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa with DH tonight which will be ace :)

TL. Don't panic. Remember, it's just a number and doesn't really mean anything. You could be 1:100,000 and still have a downs baby and or 1:2 and have a perfectly healthy child.

Sorry I'm not here very much atm. Don't really feel like talking too much if I'm honest. Finding things a little bit tough and have a lot going on at home.

Hoping you are all well though and if anything exciting or major happens could I ask that someone PM me as I don't have time to read back through all the pages.

    Take care everyone

Kerri - Just saw your post. My MIL is dead so no chance of her coming to stay, but as you're not even due until 1st Jan if she comes at Xmas there is a real possibility that she could have been there for 3 weeks before your baby is even born!!
If my husband had said that to me (not that he ever would have done) my reply would have been..."Err, no." End of conversation.

Just tell him she isn't welcome.

Morning all, V Day for me today as I am 24 weeks :D so I will be graduating over the next group, I will still lurk so I shall look forward to seeing you guys over there :)

Kerri *hugs* does your MIL have to stay with you? I don't think its a good idea at all, in my current rageful state I really couldn't put up with my MIL, she came over far too much when my son was first born and kept sticking her nose in. Every thing I did was wrong, she kept correcting EVERYTHING. She is still like it now but I just tell her to keep her opinions to herself as I will bring up my kids how I like xxxx

    Afternoon Ladies.

Turns out my little bleeding scare was nothing! No idea where it came from, but there has been nothing since which is a relief.

Had 20 week scan today and all looks good. Very detailed scan which took us through every little detail. Was very special.

Turns out we are TEAM BLUE!!!!! :DMuch to OH's delight. Very happy to know. I really admire all those who are team yellow though. I'm to impatient to wait until the birth. Now I only have to concentrate on 1 genders name lol.

Need to read back on the thread a bit, but hugs to all those who need them and congrats on v day Kscarlet :)

Yes I was nervous. No idea why lol.Either way as long as it's happy and healthy it shouldn't matter, but I know what you mean :)
