Lippy - Hope the bleeding stops. I agree, contact triage or labour ward as you are 20+.

Coupon - Glad your scan went well and well done on team yellow.

Vic - What sort of advice do you mean?

TL - There are a few possible reasons; growth restriction, placental problems, bad genes etc.

I'm not unduly worried - I knew she was going to be small. My main concern was the care I would get to monitor it all. At the moment it looks like we are aiming to get to 37 weeks rather than it being 'not before 37'. We'll just wait and see what the next scan says.

Thanks for all the kind wishes, makes me feel happier about it all. Hope you all have babies who grow and behave much better than mine do!

Anything they can do, anything you can do to make sure your pregnancy progresses as well as possible, or is it a case of just waiting?

    Huge hugs x

There isn't anything anybody can do if a baby isn't growing properly whilst still inutero. All they can do is monitor her growth and if she stops flourishing they'll whip her out.

I need to not stress and not panic....yeah, right! Heh :o

You and Scarlett must be leaving this thread very soon? Nooo! Is the list knocking about anywhere?

    Hugs Lippy and Lily.

Lippy I have bleeding quite often, I have an etropian cervix so even if I do a large number two or have nookie I bleed. The cervix enlarges when you're pregnant and is more susceptible to bleeding. I'd be straight onto the midwife for them to check me out if I were you though. Just remember brown is old blood, red and pink is new.

Hugs starshinning, have you had any movements or flutters? I'm sure your baby will be wriggling around in there.

AFM, not a lot to report other than we now have hot water (hurray!) and my chest infection isn't budging grrrr.

Oh and I have massive cravings for sainsbugs jam doughnuts and wham bars, although I never actually eat the doughnuts just buy them lol.

I get IBS too, the best thing I found was to cut out any form of mince, cut down on all dairy, and reduce the amount of bread I eat. As soon as I did this my IBS symptoms pretty much disappeared. Although I do have flair ups if I eat these trigger foods. The times when it was really bad was when I was eating homemade cottage and shepherd pies all the time. The potato and the mince were the worst things I could be eating. Do you know your trigger foods? Must say, being veggie has definitely helped, although I no longer have the joys of dutch ovening my OH hahaha.
