Lovely scan pics everyone, I found my scan at 16 weeks detailed, I cant wait now till my 20 wk one, if they are going to look like those.

I have one tuesday with the hospital that carried out the cvs procedure and then one the next day in my normal hospital, cant wait. :)

Being kicked lots (or mini kicks anyway) the last 2 days, although every one feels the need to comment on my tummy like its public property....oooh your tummy is bigger now, and thats family, god knows what strangers are thinking... oh shes a bit porky!

Im dreading the time when someone tries to touch my stomach, i would find that really strange. Is that just me?

Cleofish..I know what you mean. People think nothing of saying my bump is huge for 21 weeks but it isn't really, until I eat and then I go super bloated! No way can I handle people touching my belly!!!

I've had around 5 or 6 people at work touch bump - it is strange. Luckily I don't mind it too much as have known these people years but find it odd that they don't ask first! First few people, I had my hands full so couldn't really do anything about it if I wanted to.

I am dying to know what I am having. Hubby not back in UK for another 11 days so have to wait for him to come home, especially as he was out of the country for 12wk scan. I don't have any inkling although am assuming its a girl as we already have 2 girls but lost 2 (unknown sex) so could be a boy. Found a gender scan in my tiny little town for £39 too. Must wait. Must wait! Anyone else dying to know? Anyone have an inkling?

Angelmommy- thats a really good price for a gender scan, do they offer a gender scan in your nhs area? but hopefully your 11 days will pass quickly so your hubby can be with as well.

Lozza- congrats on having a girl! We were convinced we were having a boy as well, calling the baby him all the time when talking, I had a cvs at 11 weeks though which tested the chromosomes of the placenta/baby so I found out over the phone it was a girl, and it was a shock, hopefully the scans next week will confirm it, otherwise it opens a huge cans of worms! But I choose to find out, to help me bond with the baby.
Were you shocked it was a girl then?

Erm more pleasantly surprised as secretly me & Dh had always more imagined having a little girl, even though we wouldn't have been bothered if they were a boy so long as they're healthy that's the main thing :)

Aww I love that little leg!

Can't wait for my scan. It's 2 weeks on wed ill be 20+6. I think we will find out the sex as I'm just too impatient not to!

I don't really have much of a bump at 18+3 just general largening all over! Braved the scales and have gained around 8lbs but I've been eating loads so expected that!

Do you think there's any truth in the old wives tale about baby's heartbeat? My mw said it was like a train and that's what boys heartbeats sound like? I don't have any preference re gender but would be interested to know if there's any truth in this!

We haven't found out what were having as we enjoy the guessing and the suprise at the end.

I think I knew with DS1 that he would be a boy, but I seem to have stronger inklings for what my baby will look like .

DS1 came out exactly as I imagined him, and then with DS2 (knew he was a boy)I imagined him looking like DS1 but having dark hair, which he did! With this one some weeks I think girl, then others I think boy, so he/she will definitely be a suprise!

I do sometimes get the urge to find out to get organised as we have bags upon bags of boys clothes which we could get rid of if its a girl, or if its a boy I would know to sort out the newborn stuff and get it washed ready!

I have a real feeling ours is a girl, i dont know why! (Probably a boy now, but we have no preference either way lol)

Has anyone looked at travel systems yet? Have been looking at loads online, really like the look of the Bugaboo Bee as it folds nice and small and doesn't have the added bulk of carrying around the carrycot bit. Have £50 of amazon vouchers and really tempted to buy the Maxi Cosi Pebble car seat (its £107).
