I've been trying to be as careful as I can, no alcohol not even had a paracetamol and managed to source an organic alternative for my hayfever - but that's due to my work. Work have been great in preventing me
Working with certain chemicals, but there's still going to be a lot things in the atmosphere at work so my thinking is baby is exposed enough to nasties as it is, I want to minimise as much else as I can. As others said best to use your common sense, I ate scampi when only about a month pregnant as I had a craving and really enjoyed it :D

Thanks so much ladies you've made me feel loads better just going to look on the positive side now that I get to see my misbehaving baby again soon which a lot of people don't. Will get my picture then and in the meantime oh has agreed that we can get a little outfit seeing as we almost got the all clear!

Thanks again for your support. Have a lovely sunny Saturday :) xx

Well we've found out were having a daughter! Seems much more real now. Lovely for my family as my sister has 2 boys so nice to have a little girl in the family too, MIL screamed when we told her she was so happy lol. Looks like baby has long legs like her daddy (I'm 5 foot 1 he's 6 foot 6!). This scan place was lovely, I can definitely recommend miracle in progress in Shepshed if anyone if near.

Add me to the "not buying anything" yet list. Not so much because I don't want to, but more because my mother keeps texting me telling me that she's got this that or the other, all bargains and stuff that will be useful. She seems to have a knack for it, so I'll let her get on with it.

Plus, like BeNice, we need to make room in the house first! So much stuff in this house to get rid of.

Congrats to everyone who has had scans, and hugs to anyone with a misbehaving baby who doesn't like being scanned.

Same with our baby. We got this really clear shot of the leg. I'm 5'9 but my hubby is 6'2.

Been reading with interest re the foods and a breath of fresh air to see how relaxed some people are. Do not mean that in a bad way at all, totally a positive as it's made me more relaxed as I admit I have been terrible with what foods I have avoided. I even cooked a meal ages ago that had soft cheese in it and binned it. Also went out for breaky awhile back with friends and asked for no egg so as to avoid panicking about it being a dippy egg.

Well I have 1 more week with you all as 23 weeks on Monday, cannot believe I will be moving on. It seems sooo soon. But have started to get the 'oh look at your bump now' comments.

I'm on my last proper holidays now as in going back to work as normal afterwards as next time being summer holidays I will only possibly be doing 1 day in Sept, the admin day.

In fact this time next year is when I intend to go back to work. So having Sept - May as maternity leave. Very weird when thought of like that.

Hope everyone has sunshine today, it's been lovely here.

    Thanks Vic.

I won't bore you all with scan pics, but here is another fav of mine.

    100_0193_zpsb150ddee.jpg

Bit of a reflection going on as afraid to scan them and loose the quality.

We got 5 photos at our 20 week scan, but this and the one above are my favs.

Just spent like an hour sorting out our bedroom as its been painted and had new flooring put down. But I wanted to sort out what went where on shelves etc and put these 2 photos in frames as felt baby needed to be part of the room rather than the photos just in an album.
