a lovely pink hippo pigpen :)

congratulations on the 20 week scans Bella and Nikki

I have been to pregnancy yoga 3 times now and I am enjoying it. It's nice to meet up with pregnant women from my local area too.

Little bumpette definitely starting to emerge. Must remember to get boyfriend to take photo soon! 18+1

    Lovely bump pigpen :)

Had the results from the NT scan it says low risk. 3 weeks today we go for a private scan and find out the gender. I'm mostly looking forward to seeing them again :) also counting down to the next midwife appointment as I think we should be able to hear the heartbeat? (It's my 16 week appointment).

Weird how cravings change - a few weeks ago I couldn't get enough toast, now I'm onto cheese oatcakes with plenty of tomato sauce!

at my 16 week appointment I didn't get to hear the heartbeat. The midwife said it wasn't recommended in the NICE guidelines :(

Depends how nice your midwife is!! Mine listened for heartbeat this week at 13+2 to try and give me some reassurance after everything that has happened. She said she wasn't supposed to try until 16 weeks but if I wanted her to she would. Could of really backfired though and left me even more panicking if she couldn't find it - thankfully she did!

16+4 today and had 16 week appt this morning. Heard baby's heartbeat which was nice. Also had quad test and there was some glucose in my water sample. Had this once last time so hopefully it'll be ok next time. Went to Sainsbury's on the way home and bought myself two nice dresses I can wear for work and some really nice jeggings. Also some nice bits for DS in sale.

Aw boo that's not fair Be Nice; my midwife said she wouldn't listen for the hb at the beginning of the appt (16wk) for the same reason but then when she had gone through everything she said "seeing as you were early I'll have a quick listen" so she did and found it straight away.

She also told me not to use my doppler so I just smiled, nodded and agreed :D Didn't tell her I've been listening to the hb every day for the last 7 weeks ;)

Rubbish hope my midwife is nice and let's us listen, I assumed being as so many people said they heard the heartbeat then that it was something they had to do.

Mine didn't listen either at the 16 week app. I wasn't too bothered as I have a Doppler at home but if I didn't I would have asked.

Anomaly scan next Tuesday for me looking forward to seeing baby again. Just hope I don't get any clear views of between its legs as I don't want to know, having lots of fun guessing!

Mine listened to the heart beat at 16 weeks, I didn't ask as wasn't sure if they did. After getting blood results back etc, she just said right let's have a listen to baby.

Gutted a bit as hubby could of come to the appointment with me so he missed hearing it. However since then been desperate to hear it again, but not long as 20 weeks tomorrow and got my next scan on Wednesday, woo hoo.

Been busy today getting stuff ready, my mother in law as helped us out with glossing and painting spare room that is turning into a nursery eventually, lol. It's a pale green as not sure if we're finding out the sex on Wednesday.
