These last couple of bump pics make me feel huge! I'm 18w and although I have a neat bump I'd say it looks more like 24 w than 18. I'll just put it down to the fact I'm a short arris!0

This is my bump - 18w tomorrow
OH has spent the afternoon doing work in the spare room. I'm impressed, he's not usually this motivated.0 -
I think that you are being unnecessarily harsh there. Just because you have chosen to reproduce copious times doesn't made you an authority speaker on the subject. If people want to stock up then they want to stock up.
To be fair to PigPen, Nikki did say 'someone stop me', and so PP tried to by offering reasons! All to be taken light heartedly I'm sure!
Hi All, hope everyone has enjoyed the lovely bank holiday sunshine. Back to back kids parties here, so DD has been shipped to the ILs for a BBQ this afternoon whilst I get to do washing, Tesco order and other such lovelies.
16 weeks tomorrow and my MW appointment in the morning. Still don't have my white notes and folder, so all my paperwork is all over the house so I need to go on a hunt for it tonight.
Loving the bump pics. I think I'm just coming out of the muffin top stage. I'll try and get hubby to take a pic this week0 -
Afternoon gang.
Hope everyone has enjoyed the sunshine. Sadly the good weather doesn't seem to have done much for my grumpy 5hit of an OH.
Here is my bump today, I'm 24+4. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow and another next week at my GP..no rhyme or reason...Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
I don't know how to post a pic but bump is definitely starting, 17 weeks tomorrow. Lovely day in the sun today, hope you all had lovely weekends!0

Morning all, 20 weeks scan tomorrow, starting to get nervous now. Just hope everything is alright. DH doesn't get it, he thought we just had a scan to find out the sex, not that they check for anomalies, lol. Really hope we do find out if we are blue or pink, I wasn't too bothered earlier on, but really want to know now! Our little bean is certainly getting more active these days can feel movement more and more, DH still can't feel anything though, which is another reason he's so excited about tomorrow!0

I could have written this the day before my 20wk scan too!
I'm off sick again, I can't move without my crutches and they hurt too... So I am moping around in bed deciding whether I fancy aqua natal classes. Or hydrotherapy tomorrow. I do but I don't fancy the trek in.
On a good note we have our next scan on Fridayyipeeeeee
If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
Sounds like you got yourself a good (if a little excessive) deal nikki2804! They're non perishable so I'm sure :money: would approve, especially with the cashback. And hey you can use them for all manner of other things as well as for baby! I use cheap wipes for all sorts, they always come in handy!
I still don't have much of a bump apart from what flab was already there... feeling a bit worried still but less than a week till the midwife appointment so hopefully she'll be able to check everything and reassure me. 16+1 today, seems to be going a little quicker now which is nice, although my scan seems like aaaages away still!
Got a good deal at the weekend - saw some nice bits reduced in Mothercare, and used a £10 off when you spend £50 voucher (when you download the app). Worked out mega cheap. Also bought a set of Avent bottles for £8 and a changing mat for £3! And here I am promising not to buy anything til after the scan in June! Can't resist a bargain!0 -
Really pleased atm - was going to order some more jeans, a dress & top but it was going to be £50 (new look as they do my leg length) - decided to look on eBay and so glad I did, got some right bargains - the best being 2 pairs of jeans in my leg length for only 99p plus postage! Found an advantage to have short legs, noone else was bidding on them as I guess 28inch maternity jeans is a bit specific for most people lol. So for £41 I've got 2 pairs jeans, a pair of cropped trousers, pair of cropped jeans, skirt, and 7 tops which was less than I was going to be spending but I've got loads more things for my money so I'm very happy
We aren't planning on stocking up particularly - well probably will with household things like cat food that we can buy more of while we have 2 wages but not baby stuff. Our plan is to get as many free samples as we can (signed up to all the varies companies clubs - yes I know well be inundated with leaflets etc but if we get a few vouchers we won't mind), and to use any vouchers we get so that we can try lots of different brands products without it costing too much so we can find out what's best for us & winegum. Got a £5 voucher for the sainsburys baby range which needs using by the end of this month so might get some cotton wool as don't want to get wipes yet (EDD is 2nd nov so don't want them going dry before then). Can't believe I'm 14+3 it seems to be flying by!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
