When I say 2 hours its an hour each way so not as bad lol - but it's still tiring having to drive, especially when I don't finish work till 10pm. Dh is being great though and doing basically everything round the house so I can put my feet up and have a rest.

SB will you get more scans with you having twins?

I have nothing scheduled until 20 weeks (well 19 as it works out), but then more at 24, 28, 32 and then every 2 weeks after that. So this will be the longest period of time without a scan!

Oh I must have missed that you were having twins Sweaty Betty - Congratulations - how exciting! When is your due date?

Not much going on here. Just trying to get the washing done and doing some school work. SIL took DD to the park as it's nice and sunny. I have my 16 week MW appt a week Tuesday - looking forward to hearing the heartbeat :)

Due date is 21 oct, but I'll be happy to get into September TBH. I'm looking 6 months pregnant already!

Oh how lovely, a bump buddy! I'm due 22 Oct and 14 +5 today. Do you know what your treatment plan is with twins. Do you have any other children?

Treatment plan for the pregnancy ? (Excuse my ignorance :) )

I have diabetes so was always going to have fortnightly hospital appointments with the diabetes-antenatal team where I see the diabetes team each time and the obs team every four weeks. Apart from some additional scans they've not mentioned any other appointments, although I'm ultra-high risk now being overweight, "old", diabetic and carrying twins... So I'm sure it won't be plain sailing :o

I have a little boy who is 2 and a half, so it's going to be a busy time - he was born by emergency CS (after I was induced, he was back to back, got stuck, and a failed forceps delivery) so I've told them in no uncertain terms that I want an elective section this time. So apparently this means I go in a week before the planned section date to have steroids (to help the lungs develop enough), which can screw up blood sugar so I'll need to be monitored for up to a week to get it stable again before they'll operate (unless I go into labour spontaneously, in which case all bets could be off!).

Sorry, that's turned into a bit of an essay!

I think we have the same due date (17th Oct) - in our area we have a 21 week scan instead of 20 weeks so I have to wait until 6th June!

Yes we do COMP :D i was part of the 'waiting to ttc' thread aaaages ago when it was first started and i remember you from there! Which region are you in? I am in Lothian and we have them around about 20 weeks. I think its really by chance mine is 20 weeks on the dot as they asked me which day suited best and I asked for a Thursday.

I was 23 weeks when I had my anomaly scan with the last one 22 the one before and 21 with this one.. they do them when they can fit you in between 18 and 24 weeks so some will have theirs later other earlier.
