OMG Pigpen sounds awful, poor you.
Luciferswench I hope the sickness passes soon for you
AFM still feeling fat and not pregnant. I feel more positive that I might actually have a baby tho which is good. I had a nice dream about looking after my own baby. I saw some very cute baby swimsuits in N*xt today. 15+20 -
Hiya, only just noticed this thread and thought i should say hi, im 17+4 currently. had a depressive day today reguarding pregnancy and realising i cant do so much as i used to around the house, having relaxing time would prob sound like heaven to most but i love getting out in the garden and constantly staying busy which is getting harder each day.
i did have a generally good weekend though, had my first couple of old dears asked me when i was due and rejoiced at the fact that people are now viewing me as pregnant and not just fat. got some bump bands from asda, £8 for 2, brilliant things and never felt so comfy, think they will be worn after the pregnancy after a sunday roast as well!
and finally found my drink for the summer, schwepps are doing a ltd edition summer punch that tastes exactly like pimms minus the alcohol so i well recommend it for any pimms lovers, only £1 a bottle in waitrose at the moment, anyway i dont want to sound like an advertising campaign anymore today so i think ill leave it there. speak soon!Started comping again....Oct wins already!:£250 philosophy goody bag, £50 itunes voucher, £30 amazon voucher.....why did i ever stop!0 -
Girlzmum.. I can't see how the belt can be any use at all when it supports your back.. my back isn't the issue my hips and pelvis are!! All it seem to do it put pressure in uncomfy places on my back and make my back hurt too and it burns. I can manage about half an hour with it on at the moment.. I lasted about 20 seconds with it this morning!! I need it around my hips like a tiny mini skirt I think rather than across my back and tummy hurting me. It really annoyed me last time having to take it off to sit down and take it off to use the toilet or it rolled up and nipped my skin causing lots of bruising.. needless to say given I could not stand for more than about 5 minutes it was rarely worn!
And my occupant has just had the first bout of hiccups!!! OH grunted 'oh!' at me in a rather bored manner.. sometimes he is a twit! So I am sharing my happiness with you!
Have to say I felt it supported my pelvis - one of the reasons why there is such a gap between this one and youngest (she's 7) is because I was diagnosed with a separated pelvis after she was born so I dreaded having to go through another pregnancy knowing I would go through that pain again - at least last time I worked in a call centre so I sat for most of the time, I went and trained as a nurse after youngest was born so I don't do a lot of sitting now! My pelvis hasn't been too bad so far, a few nasty pinching episodes but nothing too nasty but I had no real bump before I went on holiday, back to work on Wednesday so that will be the real test (I do not want to wear the belt in work and crutches aren't happening because I know as soon as I need them I won't be able to work anymore)
I've never felt any of mine having hiccups, which is odd as both girls get hiccups all the time! Your OH doesn't know what he's missing out on xx
Went to see in laws tonight and they were thrilled to see bump, FIL was getting very fed up waiting for bump to appear!Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0 -

Oh good I'm glad it's not just me who is struggling round the house. ... I'm so tired a huge tantrum erupts everytime I have to clean, do washing. .. sometimes a tantrum erupts just because I have to go to work everyday. I'm 16 weeks now. .. please can someone console me and tell me this tiredness will endI'm seeing midwife on Wednesday so I'm going to ask about this but has anyone else gotten paranoid during their pregnancy. I'm paranoid about baby being ok but even more than that I keep worrying ive messed up at work or something. I'm just really uneasy about a lot of things to be honest. I'm not down or anything just paranoid as heck! !!

Hi all. Hope you all had a good weekend. We went to kiddicare on Saturday (which is brilliant for anyone who hasn't been before) and got fitted for a car seat. Was rather weird seeing a car seat in our car and thinking there's going to be a little person in there soon! Anyway I think we are going to get the maxi cosi cabriofix, it fits in our car without a base, (we don't have isofix) and it fits on our pushchair. And we can get one with a pink lining which is really cute :-)
Lovely weather here today it's the first day I haven't needed to take a coat to work, which is brilliant cos the zip was getting really tight!
I'm really struggling to get comfortable at the moment, especially on my sofa. It feels like baby is all up in my ribs all the time and I'm getting a lot of stitch like pains and I can't sit still. I really hope she moves down a bit now.
hope everyone who's suffering is feeling better

Whats V-day?
viability day... 24 weeks.
The day hospitals will try to save it if it is born then, the day it is classed as a birth rather than a 'late miscarriage'LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hello. My partner is at 21 weeks now and doing fine, not posted in here before as its more for the ladies I feel.
Just a heads up if anyone is looking at travel systems, or indeed any large baby item that Boots sell online.
We decided to get the Cosatto Giggle (Pablo) travel system. Looking around, the best price from a reputable seller was £340, Boots being one seller at this price.
They currently have a 15% off baby promotion, you enter 'BABY10' at the checkout. We got the above for £289, plus 10 Advantage points per £1 for being in the parenting club, plus at least £7.20 cashback (but showing as £17 currently.... different rates for new or existing Boots.com customers and we were both existing ones) plus any incentive points from your credit card.
Basically we got the system for £250 if you deduct all the points and cashback from the £289 paid, which I think is amazing value. If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -

Post as much as you want to on the pregnancy boards. Having a baby effects both partners so both, mummy to be and daddy to be, are more than welcome on any of the boards.0
