    Evening ladies.

I'm totally fed up. Found out today that the way i thought work were going to sort out my employment has now gone by the wayside. They want me to attend an assessment centre next week. I've just had enough of it. I don't see why i should have to prove i can do a job which i've been doing for the last year to then apply for the job in the store i already work in, against another member of the store team who doesn't even want the job. I just think it's a complete waste of time and energy and i feel like they are just taking the p**s. I don't understand why i should have to go through all this stress along with all the stress of the pregnancy particularly after out nt results. I'm so hacked off. I work so hard, and noone seems to give a toss.

I hope that all you lovely ladies are well and that bumps are healthy and growing x

    Morning ladies,

It's a beautiful day up north (even 'though we woke up to police tape around OHs car - we sleep on the other side of the building so we didn't hear the fight). I think I might skip the shopping and go to the park instead :)

ecoelle - I really feel for you. My work are like that. They keep saying they have to keep things "fair" and "open", but it's all just to make them look good. Take a deep breath, you can do this. Like you said, you've done the job for a year, you know it inside out, right? So be confident in that.

For all the ladies still waiting for their Boots parenting club stuff - I phoned them yesterday (I am so impatient :)) and the lady checked I was on the list straightaway. I don't know if I was, but I am now anyway, and she said the next mailing is going out at the end of this month. If you phone in the next couple of days you can probably still be in included in that mailing.

Have a lovely, pain-free day all!

    Hi all,

Ecoelle sorry to hear it's been so awkward, hopefully it will be over and done with soon and they can get rything's ok at your buildingtheir HR policies out of the way. Once that's done you'll be able to not think about it and get back to normal, but even so try not to think about it alot. It will just make you feel worse - a nice hot bath and a skin treatment later might help though!

Caelshorn oooh hope everything is ok at your building, strange goings-on in the night! Good that you reminded me re: Boots - I registered online a while back, started to get mailshots, but nothing in the post or any vouchers or anything. Sounds like that may be about to change from what you say, do you think i still need to call them?

My skin is annoying me today - I really want to get some sort of concealer that will even out skin tone and the odd blemish - does anyone have any tips?

  • It's official, I must be pregnant as i've started waddling when I walk.

I've yet to feel the burst of energy or the urge to nest yet though & feel constantly tired. :(

Only 18 weeks to go. :rotfl:

I hope everyone & their bumps are well.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

    Hi ladies,

I'm going to post in here too as I'm now 12+3 and so am almost ready to graduate from the other thread. First scan is tomorrow and I am excited and petrified all at the same time - don't think I'll get much sleep tonight!!

Hope everyone is feeling ok, not had chance to read back through the thread yet so will just wish you all happy pregnancy vibes :) xxx

How does the DWP know you've worked 26 weeks for MA? I've worked like 20 but I have 13 payslips to send in..... And even then I dunno if I'll get ESA, I am a student and it will be after my term is finished that 6 weeks start. ARGH

Hi all, hope everyone had a restful nights' sleep - as much as poss anyway!

Pookie that's great news - I am trying my hardest to save at least 5 days so that I can leave 3rd week June rather than end of June, but we will be so busy then it will be hard. I will have to see.

Hi Mancbird and mirrorimage - Manc hope your scan goes well - have some tissues at the ready as I was crying happy tears at seeing my little one! It really makes it real... (then you sort of forget again until the 20 week scan!)

Sorry Abby I am not sure - maybe someone on here knows more so they can answer better... edit> ah I see Skint Catt knows, it reminds me to ask for my MATB form when I see the midwife...

Well tomorrow I am 23 weeks, scary stuff. Must use some magic hemming stuff to take up my new maternity jeans, otherwise this week will be hard going... got some new tops from Primark that are long, so they can cover the gap between my current jeans and my tops that has started to emerge... Only spent £8 on 2 tops so not bad. Unfair that we have to spend money on new clothes, moisturisers, food etc and blokes get away with nothing...
