Morning ladies and bumps.
Well for the last three nights I have slept so badly. I just cannot get comfortable. I keep finding myself on my back and then think about things I've read which say I shouldn't lie on my back so wake myself up turning over and just never seem to be in the right position for sleep. Its driving me mad:mad: Hope its just a phase.Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
morning all, babie has none stop been kicking me since about yesterday after noon. finally stopped about an hours ago. so active at the mo.
Had my A/N and heard babies heart beat. the beats were 150-153bpm, so nice and strong. Everything else all fine. Still not feeling preg dispite a nice big belly now, well it feels huge anyway,lol.0 -
Anyone had a nasty night with SPD? Last night I went for a walk definitely overstretched myself. 12.30am i was screaming moaning and crying and I phones an ambulance at 2am. I threw up and my body decided to completetly evacuate my bowels and my bladder. After the tenth toilet visit the pain calmed to a level where I could lie down without moaning and tossing. Midwife says to take small steps but it will get worse as I am over weightMoney money money.

lol, that will be an awakening call and a half won't it.
i did say to my midwife is it normal, i said i don't even feel exceited at the mo, beuase it just doesn't seem real. i said i keep wanting to feel exciting and then i think nah only 18 week's. it too soon. She said it perfectly normal. she said for some mums it becuase they have previous babies, others are just laid back, some it hits in a fews weeks and when it does it really does.
i'm hopinh tho the 20 weeks scan will help. i am only 18 weeks which is still very early.0 -
I do wonder what 'pregnant' feels like..
I was fairly in shock still when the baby arrived.. like it hadn't been long enough.. though with the others I was so busy I barely had time to think about anything being so busy with the older ones. With my oldest I felt big and heavy.. but I never felt anything I could say 'wow I actually feel pregnant'
At the moment I just feel extremely tired... after the tired I feel the need to decorate (girls bedroom this time) then I go to pain and hot and heavy and tired..
jcr .. did you ever feel 'pregnant with your others?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
yes i did pp, it hard to explain. but i knew i was preg. even with my last baby after 2 neg test i said to hubby their wrong i know i'm preg. i just knew i was.
but after about 6 or was it 8 preg test with this baby, a 12 week scan photo ( all 4 of them) baby kicking, i still don't feel preg. or maybe i mean i still not believing it,rather than not feeling it, if that make sence.
hell i don't know. i know that becuase i fell so quickly, came off pill middle/end oct and was preg by dec, i wasn't expecting to fall so quickly i kept thinking ti was very sureal.
What can i say i'm a women i will never be happy ,lol.:rotfl:0 -

Hello All pregnant ladies!!
I had my 2nd scan yesterday at 19+3 weeks and it was great and all is well. Except they couldn't see the babies heart properly so I have been booked in for another appointment in April - which is both exciting and nerve racking but I get 3 scans I'm so greedy.
I am overwhelmed with all the different types of pram/cot and stuff to buy. I have been reading the thread for a while and love to hear of all your stories but wanted to drop in to say "Hi"

Do you think, for some of us, the hormones are making us more calm and placid? I've been feeling so calm about it all most of the time. It's most unlike me. I asked husband if he thought I'd been less angry since being pregnant and he agreed. My work is pretty stressful but I just can't get worked up about it these days. I'm not totally chilled out and sometimes have a bit of a blow out but nothing like as big or as often as normal. Suppose it affects us all in different ways.0
