Hi ladies,
Abby so sorry to hear you had to go to ospital, must have been so nerve wracking!I hope things improve for you now, you will hopefully not need to go there again, do call your doctor or midwife for advice if needed...
Welcome Georgie, feel free to post and also hope to see you on the main thread!
BCC wow that pram really comes in 65 colours - I thought it was an ebay typo in the title of the auction!
I must admit my choice of pram was based on weight (the Techno XT is around 7kg) and also that it would last until around 4 years old, so mostly a financial decision! If money was no obect I'd be on that ebay page trying to choose a colourthough it would be too hard
Love the cot, so cute!
At 20:45 last night I was already wanting to go to bed... was in bed by 21:10! So tired right now, felt like I was magnetised to the bed when getting up this morning... bubs was very active indeed as usual first thing, though yest had been quieter, today however was like a mini aerobics class, No doubt I haven't helped by having a naughty coffee this morning (instant) as has a bit of a headache and find it helps
I used the £10 off voucher from Bounty pack yesterday for Yummy Mummy maternity clothes, luckily their store is near my office even though they deliver nationwide. Got some over belly jeans, really good as comfy and have adjustable elastic straps round waist, were £27 but got them for £17, so my RedHerring ones will be heading back to Debenhams.... I was also fitted for a bra and will get it next month, one with clips for nursing, costs a bit more but well worth it. Yummy Mummy are very helpful and knowledgeable so I recommend them ladies, they have a great selection too so take a peek especially with that £10 off :T Web linky here
Didn't know about the 45m limit for babies in car seats - I guess on long trips you just have to take lots of breaks.:):)

Oh no. Not more puking Bella
I'm feeling huge today. My stomach is a bottomless pit and I'm hungry all the time. Eaten breakfast and 2 bags if crisps already. Been on a munch mission all week and tummy is rather bloated. I may stop using the bathroom scales as it's getting upsetting. Good news is I've been given a huge bag of maternity clothes and they're nearly all my size. I shouldn't have to buy anything. A mix of trousers skirts and summery tops too. Might start wearing them tomorrow.0 -
Who was I talking to about dopplers last week? I ordered the angelsounds one from amazon on Saturday (it was saying 3-4 weeks for delivery but then changed to in stock), £20.48, delivered on tuesday. Tried it in evening and managed to find baby after about 10 minutes. Going to record it at weekend and send to my mum for mothers day.0

Aww thats nice Twi1ight. I don't want a doppler- I'd be too scared of not finding the heartbeat and panicking myself something's wrong lol!
I am so bored at work. Wish I was outside in the sunshine. And really fancying a glass of ciderLeo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
im the same clarieloo, i'd never have one as it would make me a wreck. i knew of one mum who used it daily and would go completly off on one everytime she couldn't find a heart beat, it made her so paranoid. i dread going to the midwife for a/n incase she has to listen to it, i don't breath until she's found it,lol.
Sorry Proud mummy Alert
Well yesterday was parents evening. omg i'm so proud of my kids. well i was anyway but they are both doing so well. my dd teacher said she is gonna miss her so much when she goes up a yr next yr. she said she is such a joy to be around and teach , so kind and thoughtful. and is such a fantastic little girl, and my ds teacher said , he makes her laugh so much. he is very good fun, works so hard, listen and is so clever. she wants to keep him. aawww. hubby and i came away with huge smiles. we promised the kids if their reports were good we'd get them the books they wanted from the book farye.( we knew they would be good) anyway as we got home, he produced the book's. the kids had the biggest smiles ever. my ds1, squealed when he saw his book. we also got a book for our youngest , he sat for rest of evening looking at it. was a great evening.
Once kids in bed i cooked hubby and i a madras, with papadoms, onion bhaji and naan bread, washed down with an ice cold beer. was a really fab evening.
got my maternity linens on today, they huge , keep falling down, lol. but so comfy. baby is kicking none stop.my dd was like this, she gave me internal brusing from kicking so much. oh the joys.
hope every one is enjoy the sun, ideal for sitting in garden doing nowt.0 -

Bella sorry to hear you're unwell!
I'm sort of the same re: heartbeat/getting a Doppler - have already seen scan and know the sex, heartbeat can stay inside, I know he's there as he has his morning aeroics then after food ones too!
jcr that's lovely, very proud moment indeed and a nice way to celebrate! Both OH and I love, love reading so I do hope Sweetpea enjoys books too. My nieces love books but sadly their parents don't have much time to read to them and I live 6 hours away... shame!:):)
