Just popping in to say hi!

Had my dating scan yesterday and am 12 weeks today with number 1.

Finally seems sickness is easing, giving way to Mr Hunger!! Can't stop eating. I'm so hugely relieved that the scan was ok. Going to tell the family today.

I am in so much pain today I want to bite people... God help the solicitor if he starts being an !!! today.. I've not met him before so have no idea what he is like.

I am absolutely dreading the next 4 months now, I hoped things would settle once I had finished shifting furniture but they just appear to be getting worse :( Crutches to hand and I cannot wear the support belt thing it is so painful and incredibly uncomfy when sitting which I am doing a lot of... I don't know where my less uncomfy one is :(

It is so bad I have considered ringing the MW for stronger drugs.. the OTC stuff is useless and my prescription supply of cocodamol has run out :(

We had our gender scan yesterday (a lovely treat after being sick all day) We are having a little girl. So that will be one of each yay!

Had excruciating pain in my back and tummy last night. Couldn't move. A hot water bottle eased the pain but I'm hoping that it doesn't happen again. Very unpleasant.

I hope everyone who is feeling yucky feels better soon and hello to the newcomers from the less than 12 weeks thread. Lovely to see you all.

I'm 19wks and unsure whether my flutters are kicks. Are kicks really obvious? If so then I don't think I've had any :( but I've had loads of flutters!

I'm much less sick now, just plodding along trying to minimise the pain in my hips. I don't get much sleep as they are so painful.

Hi there - just moving over from the 12 week thread. Had a scan today and now starting to think I can maybe relax for a while :-)
  • Hi ladies, I'm also popping over from the previous thread :-) 13 weeks today and had a magical scan yesterday so I'm very very happy. Still only told OH though and hoping to keep it secret for a wee bit longer! :-)

I didn't really have noticeable kicks until 30+ weeks, mostly just flutters (or little wriggles) for a while.

Congrats ladies on all your positive scans.x

    Good afternoon :)

Nikki - congrats on Team Pink!

Pigpen - sorry to hear you're in pain. Can you go see your GP - would he/she be more helpful with drugs ratehr the MW?

Congrats on all the scans this week.

I love hearing about all the little flutters. Too early for me, but I think with DD I felt them around 20 weeks. I remember in the third trimester feeling definite kicks and shuffling about - it was great. Oh, and my favourites were hiccups. My DD used to hiccup quite a bit and I'd feel them whilst sat at my desk. One day, instead of the hiccups being really low down, they were quite high up near my ribs and thats how I knew the baby had turned breach. It's all just amazing - can't wait to get to that stage again!

Anyway, just wanted to say that I forgot how comfy maternity leggings are - omg was like heaven when I put them on this morning! Some shopping is definitely on the cards I think - although it will have to be mostly online as the usual suspects don't seem to stock maternity ranges instore anymore - Next, M&S, Dotty P etc.

The MW will sort it with the consultant.. I don't see a GP.. as it is I haven't bothered with any of them and double up on OTC meds .. and they still are useless.

  • Congrats to everyone who has moved accross or had their scans!!!
Higs to those who need them.... loads and loads of hugs to you Pigpen.

Starting to get the feeling again that am not pregnant, tiredness is starting to disappear, just feel fat!!! Starting crying at the slightest thing this morning... my tolerance for the OH is non existant at the mo!!! He started taking the p!ss as I had given the duvet a big pull to cover me... cue me bursting into tears, saying I had woken up twice in the night with no duvet, i have to give it a pull as he is usually sleeping on top of it and I then stormed off crying to have a shower!!! He was aplogetic when I got out saying he does take it too far and he knows he tosses and turns all night!!! Cue me crying again for being unreasonable... I burst out crying all the time with him, he admits he is not the easiest person to live with!!!
