I'm just back from my midwife appointment (15 + 2). I got to hear the babies heartbeat which was nice.
Midwife told me my sickness should hopefully stop around 20 weeks, so much for the GPs 12 weeks eh? Lol.
Next scan is May 2nd, cant wait, we're finding out the sex0 -
I hope it does stop for you at 20 weeks Nikki, but I still have it at 27 weeks and some people have it straight through.0

LOL PigPen - how has OH been recently?

You could gently remind him... 'If you really want to be sure there are no more babies, then that means no more sexy-time'. Takes two to make a baby...."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

Hello
I'm graduating from the less than 12 weeks thread. I had my scan on Weds and baby was healthy and wriggly
It's weird how chatty people are - this lady at the gym said she'd known for weeks cos 'no one gains weight that fast'! I'd gained half a stone at Christmas and maybe a few more pounds whilst actually pregnant but I just look like I do when I put on weight. No bump whatsoever! I feel like a chubster now!
I'm going shopping for maternity clothes today as I'm finding my jeans really uncomfortable. I'm not sure where to go but I have my bounty vouchers so I'll have a look around.0 -
Hi benice! Welcome to the thread! Ive come to the conclusion wether your bump is big or small people feel the need to comment, not always nicely so best just to ignore!
Well I'm having a cr*p day at work, and have only just got lunch so now eating a obscene amount! Will be so glad to finish next week!
Hope everyone is having a good day xx0 -
Hi BeNice,
Welcome to the thread! I had the same comments, suddenly everyone already knew (some of the claims went back to how i was acting before I was even pregnant!). I've only needed maternity clothes in the last couple of weeks but the choice is limited. I've eventually ordered some stuff from next which will be available tomorrow.
Having a night away with DH and the dog this weekend, so it'll be nice to get him away from the Xbox and talk properly. Want to start discussing what baby stuff we will need and decide on a few more girls names.
My bump has really popped out in the last week or so! 17+ 4 I think, not felt any movements yet though.0 -
I had a successful shopping trip - 4 tshirts and 2 trousers and 1 pair of jeans. One was red herring at Debenhams cos it had cute chicks on it. The rest was H&M - my saviour! I took a friend with me which really helped especially when I needed 2 sizes up in H&M and felt cr*p!0
