Woke up this morning with the most severe back/side pain. Almost made me cry. It's eased off a little but is awful. I had kidney stones a few months ago and I'm suspicious that this is playing up again. Need some strong pain relief and rest I think...

Have you ever had gallstones? I think i read somewhere that pregnant women are more likely to get them! (not good if you do have them - trust me i know!)

A nurse i used to see said she would much rather give birth than to have the gallstone pain - i'm glad i'm prepared then! :rotfl:

I got diagnosed with gall stones after a few days in hospital a fortnight ago, if that pain is worse than labour, then I think I'll cope okay but it was horrendous! I'm on codeine and paracetamol two hourly but that's all they can do when you're pregnant :(

    Aww sparkles, poor you. :(

Never had gall stones but I have to say that passing kidneys stones was the most horrific pain ever! It's eased off a bit now so hoping it was just nothing. The midwife checked my urine too and no sign of infection so that was reassuring.

MV my hormones are a bit the same as yours, I am a nightmare at times. Part of my problem is stress of not knowing exactly when I'll finish work and move house.

Had my appt this morning, all fine. Heard the baby's heartbeat too which was lovely!

When did you all start feeling proper movements? I'm feeling some weird sensations but not sure if it's muscle twinges or wind or what!

I'm exactly the same! I'm only 13 weeks but it's my second pregnancy. Its like a fluttering. I was on the bus yesterday and felt it, but wasn't sure if it was the vibrations from the engine. I keep thinking I can't be feeling it so soon as was around 17 weeks with DS, but as it's my second pregnancy it's supposed to happen earlier.

I will be 19 weeks tomorrow, my bump has really popped out but I am not feeling much in the way of movement, Trying not to stress about it (not my forte).

I have to wait for 22 weeks for my anomoly scan..bum, although I have an obsti check up a week on Monday so hoping I can persuade them to at least have a listen for the h/beat.

Hormones are going bonkers at the moment. One minute I want to cry and the next I want to tear anybodies head off. Like PMT but worse. Not nice.

Ditto. I'm 20+2 and hardly feel anything. Maybe 2 little nudges a day if that! Bang on 20 weeks last time, OH could feel the kicks from the outside :(

And Ditto. I have really bad PMT. Really had to hold it in with the kids at school this week. Felt like I could explode any minute!

Hi all have recently graduated from the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread, had my scan yesterday and have been dated at 12w 4d.

Still being sick unfortunately, hopefully will ease off soon.

Hoping the weather picks up soon so I can start wearing nice floaty dresses instead of having to wear restricting wintry coats and trousers!

I'm hoping it stays cold so I can hide in my snug clothing, I don't do dresses ever really.. I can't be bothered with nosey people who ignore me on a daily basis asking about it and their idiotic comments I want to reply to with eff off or what's it to do with you?.. two-faced gossip mongers.. gggrrrrr.. No.. of course I'm not pregnant I am just storing fat for the winter...

I am in a right old grumpy strop today...

I've yelled at DLA in my 'nice' tone which apparently is quite scary lol.. solicitors are next on the cards and OH is after them..

  • Fed up still being sick. Breasts arent sore all the time any more though.
Its been a long 13 wks i want the interesting bit to start with the movements.
Im 13+5 managing to eat more now. Baby bean likes donuts with raspberry jam in small amounts.
Everyones been talking about me in the playground for ages as OH has been doing the school runs as i couldnt leave the house without puking. Luckily most of the nosy ones just think im really really ill :D
Sometimes i like to imagine that im living on the breadline as a single mum with 3 children to feed and clothe, bills to pay and very little time to myself........ then i wake up and realise im a princess with prince charming by my side and a lovely white castle........ oh wait

LOL PigPen - how has OH been recently?

My scan went very well on Tuesday, although I have to say the midwife was really rough with the scanner and my tummy is still very tender. Baby is measuring spot on for dates and slept the whole time, actually had arm tucked behind head and yawned! We didn't want to know sex but she scanned around hips (I've had to have my left hip operated on and it can be congenital so they check) and we both spotted a little extra between the legs so it looks like we're having a boy! Our girls will be over the moon when they get a new brother but we're not telling them before baby is born.

We head on holiday tomorrow - cannot wait but just want to be there without the travelling and packing!
