When did you all start feeling proper movements? I'm feeling some weird sensations but not sure if it's muscle twinges or wind or what!

I swear I can feel movement ... Particularly after a shower or (oddly) sex!

    But it could be wind...

Oh, maternity clothes aren't nice at all! But I can highly recommend the Primark Secret Support vests for nighttime - I can't wear bras in bed, never have been able to, but my boobs have been so sore this pregnancy that I needed something, am very well endowed in the boob department so I need good support. I bought a couple of them and they've been fantastic!

I'm spending most of my days having my bladder used as a trampoline, Wriggler is having a great time! It's my 21 weeks scan tomorrow and I can't wait to see baby again. :j

Hi - I'm not really here (I'm still on the pre-12 weeks board, I'm only 9+5!) but I have been having a little read of this board occasionally to see what to expect after the next few weeks but I just wanted to chime in re. sore b00bs at night - I found M&S stretchy bra/crop-top sport-style things (2 pack in a box - 1 black, 1 white) that offer very good night time support for larger b00bed ladies like me! The girl in the shop was raving about how comfy they are and she was right! I wasn't sure as I am rather large 'up top' but they are actually good.
For some reason mine hurt a lot more at night and these do a good job of supporting them.

    Hi everyone!
I picked up a few maternity clothes which are nice and comfy but there isn't much choice! Going to order some bits from Next now that I've been paid. 17 + 1 today and have my midwife appointment tomorrow. Scan in 3 weeks :)

Any of you not finding out the gender and having a surprise? Can't make up my mind which I'd rather do!!

Haven't felt any obvious movements yet, hoping they'll start soon. How's everyone else getting on?

Ooh .. you are due the day before me..

I am the size of a battleship, been in maternity stuff for weeks and having lots of squirming and kicking. i was amused last night I had been sitting all curled up on the sofa and I got up and went to bed and i could feel the baby stretching and moving to get comfy it was like a large worm shifting about.

I desperately need some jumpers! and a coat.. the one I wore with my last 2 (same time of year) simply doesn't zip up.. I had to suck my tummy in and press on it to get the zip shut as there was about 4 inches between the edges of zip! I don't know if it is worth buying another one though, but it is freeeeezing.

I'm not having a surprise.. I need to know what colour to buy the white sleepsuits in.. and what colour to knit.. though i am starting with white with blue flecks.. just to confuse people. My scan is 4.5 weeks away so i'll be a few days past 21 weeks. I was 23weeks with my last anomaly scan!!

    Due 2nd sept :)
Only have a small bump but it feels huge!! Have been crocheting some things in colours that can suit either but I think we will find out as then I can get really organised!!

Woke up this morning with the most severe back/side pain. Almost made me cry. It's eased off a little but is awful. I had kidney stones a few months ago and I'm suspicious that this is playing up again. Need some strong pain relief and rest I think...

I'm fairly huge but this is normal for me.. I was in maternity stuff by about 6 weeks with all of them so I didn't expect to be tiny this time. I've not sorted a thing for the baby.. I have decided on a car seat and that is all.. I have lots of girl clothes but all the neutral went to my son and daughter for their babies both born last June so I need to replace all that and get some knitting done.. I'm in the middle of the kitchen and bathroom being rebuilt and decorating 3 rooms.. and no doubt the kitchen too after the work is done. I can then look at baby stuff so that should be after the scan.

I wonder if we will bother discussing names before this one arrives!

I will be 19 weeks tomorrow, my bump has really popped out but I am not feeling much in the way of movement, Trying not to stress about it (not my forte).

I have to wait for 22 weeks for my anomoly scan..bum, although I have an obsti check up a week on Monday so hoping I can persuade them to at least have a listen for the h/beat.

Hormones are going bonkers at the moment. One minute I want to cry and the next I want to tear anybodies head off. Like PMT but worse. Not nice.

We're having building work done too and it's a nightmare! Baby planning has taken a bit of a back seat.

I'm struggling to hold my tongue at work. I have such a short fuse at the minute but at least I'm not crying at the drop of a pin like I was earlier in the pregnancy
