Cheese on toast is definitely acceptable.

Ive been terrible with sickness this morning threw up at mums :( Managed to keep two toasted bagels down - seems im ok with plain bread products with butter.
But lack of fruit and veg means im constipated then i end up exploding which isnt fun. The joys of incubating little bean.

You could try malt loaf.. eat brown bread and snack on the odd grape or couple of raisins.. just one or 2 bits might help

  • Thanks for that pigpen ive sent OH out for fruited teacakes and shall get him to get some malt loaf tomorrow. And keep my fingerscrossed.
Grapes made me vom :( and i liked grapes. Could stomach brown bread in the beginning and now the smell turns my stomach.
Beans uber fussy easters coming and i cant even stomach chocolate.

    dried fruit?

Have you tried freezing grapes and eating them frozen?

Would a smoothie help? a few sips a few times a day is better than nothing.

Keeping fluid intake up will help bowels too. Do you think you could manage an odd spoonful of syrup of figs? Senokot works.

I can't face chocolate at the moment either.. jeliiiiiies... nomnom ...

I couldn't eat fruit either but luckily the only breakfast I could stomach is grapenuts cereal which is full of fibre. Is there anything similar you could try or are you off cereals as well?
  • Ive tired fruit juices all but cranberry n lime made me vom, cereals and anything with milk are out.
Will try frozen grapes and dried fruit.

Thanks for the suggestions :) its always better when there are several heads throwing ideas

Hi everyone, graduating to this thread at 12+1

Scan yesterday - little blighter wasn't in right position for DS tests & nearly couldn't be dated - had to empty bladder to see if it worked - but it didn't!

Never mind - DH really wants to find out the DS risks (although i don't see why as we wouldn't get rid etc. & my age means low risk) so i am booked for blood tests at 14 weeks

Still trying to believe i am actually pregnant & carrying a baby!

Not been sick - but plenty of nausea and bloating has decreased my appetite alot - not a bad thing as obese anyway!

My sister text me yesterday and said crisps and full fat coke cure morning sickness! She is very health conscious and careful with her intake (I'm not, hence why I'm a size 16 and have gestational diabetes!) so it must have killed her to eat that!

I'm looking very pregnant today and cannot eat enough!

  • Today i managed to eat spag bol for tea with a basic tomato, onion and mince sauce. The smell of garlic makes me heave.
    Tried pineapple juice and puked.
