Well im immune to slapped cheek syndrome - phew!

Sickness picked up again yesterday, was ill from 8am to midnight then up through the night =\ not fun.

Going back to work tomorrow. The joys.

Trying to convince OH that we really do need a gender scan earlier than the 21 week anomoly scan. Hes not very agreeable :(

Hey, just popped in to say hi, hows all my bump buddies??

lao cat are you around?? Have you had your scan yet?

MV and pigpen, loving the bump photos!! - pigpen, love that red top!

I have my 20 week scan this afternoon and am rather nervous, I know friends who have got bad news at the 20 week one after a normal 12 week one, so I am worried something could be wrong. We have decided not to ask what the sex is, however if the bump really wants us to know I think it will be obvious.

I havent really felt any movements yet (well I dont think I have) as its my first Im not sure what they are supposed to feel like..... another reason to add to my worrying.....

I do now have a noticable bump instead of just looking a bit porky, and your right.... everyone has to make a comment about it..... some of them not very nice.... been told Im looking chunky today ... gee thanks!
If at first you dont succeed, try, try again

Afternoon all :) I'm 16+3 today, been for my consultants appointment, he has offered me an elective section because of my nasty tear last time he said he couldn't guarantee I wouldnt have a bad tear again, think I'm going to go with the section but I don't have to decide until my 36 week appointment with him, until then though I can just see the midwife at my gps.

Sickness was getting better but i was sick this morning and I've been feeling off most of the day, think its probably because I was so stressed last night my 18 month old cracked his forehead on the coffee table and ended up in a and e having it glued, he's fine now thank god.

    Take care x

  • bella I hope your 18 month old is OK and feeling better. This is my first but I have heard that toddlers end up in A & E a lot!

rumfeeble and nutshell I hope your scans went well. I felt worried about my 12 week scan cos friends of friends and sister-in-law found out bad news at 12 weeks. Now I feel much more positive.

Pigpen glad your OH is talking to you enough to tell you that he wants a boy!

Beautiful bumps pigpen and MV. I need to start taking photos of my muffin top LOL

nikki I have no idea what slapped cheek is and I don't want to know if it's worried you this much. Glad you are immune to it.

congratulations yumyums. I'm hoping bounty is right for me too as OH wants a boy.

AFM I am 14 weeks today. Lady at the gym came up to me and said congratulations and said I looked pregnant. I must be showing even tho to me it's just a muffin top!

Nearly 14 weeks now and still super sick bluurgh.

Not really much in the way of bump here yet, keep feeling little flutters but could easily be wind!

I said I wasn't going to find out with this one but keep having visions of myself going for a secret gender scan and not telling everyone else.

My mums really doing my head in, all of a sudden after watching a few YouTube vids she is a master sonographer and saw a willy on the 12 week scan. Yep, experienced sonographers won't give you a definite answer because its so difficult to tell at that stage, but a quick glimpse and my mum knows what she saw. Funnily enough she also saw a willy on my nieces 36 week 3d scan so goodness knows why she won't admit she hasn't got a clue what she is looking at. Oh, and she has also ascertained from said 12 week scan that the baby looks just like DS1.

I am around, been working 80 hour weeks so not really posting much. But have been lurking in between the craziness. Welcome to all the new joiners.

I am 21 wks we had our scan last week and all is wel, baby is ahead if schedule. I have had a few movements but the tech mentioned the placenta location is a big role in that. Hope you scan went well yesterday.

@ MV and pigpen love the bumps :)

Mine have never been.. I took one once at 3 with a dislocated elbow but have been about 8 times in total

Pigpen glad your OH is talking to you enough to tell you that he wants a boy!

Not quite.. it was more if he has to have one then he would prefer boy but he would still rather have none

    You should!

I don't think it is possible to truly relax until they are safely in your arms!.

Afternoon all. Graduating over here from the less than 12 week thread. Am 13 +4 now. First baby, very scared and excited, and a little bit too obsessed with researching buggies online.

I've lost another few pounds but my stomach is massive. I'm not eating much, but what I am eating is pretty much junk. It's all I can stomach at the moment though.
