We've got the Mothercare Trenton, it folds down more than the previous model and friends of mine loved it except for the fact it was big.0

OMG! I have just bought a pram come pushchair for an absolute bargain!!!:j:j:j Good reviews of it everywhere I have looked - Obaby Pramette - approx overall cost £103!!! Just posted it onto baby bargains anyone who needs a reasonably (cheap in my opinion!) pram/pushchair!
I haven't even tried it but as the reviews as so good - and the price is so reasonable - I am prepared to give it a go! Thought I would give the heads up on here incase anyone else was looking!
Bet it gets cancelled!!!!0 -
Go to debenhams.. mothercare bras are horribly unsupportive as are M&S ones. Debenhams do a much better range .. buy one and the go online and check out figleaves... oh.. and ignore whatever size mothercare measured you as it is wrong, it always is. After Eden, Freya, hotmilk all do lovely pretty (some padded!) nursing/maternity bras which fit nicely, have lots of support and look nice too. You could always buy a selection from figleaves send back what you don't like and exchange for the ones you do.
Emma Jane give you cone boobs, and are very old fashioned but offer lots of support.
If you are planning on breastfeeding you may as well get nursing rather than maternity bras.
You don't have to get 'maternity' bras just ordinary non-wired will do.. and probably be cheaper.
Completely agree about mothercare bras. They're useless. I've tried so many types but IMO, the link below are the best. Expensive but utterly, utterly worth every penny.

Splank I also intend getting the Babystyle Oyster, had a play with a few yesterday and really loved it and a friend has recommended it. Love the fact you can chop and change the colours as and when you fancy. I also want a maxi cosi pebble, so am i right in thinking I need an isofix base for the car and also separate adaptors foro the pram chassis?0

Dippydooda - I have the the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat and did quite a bit of research about the ISOfox base (which fits both the Pebble and the Cabriofix). Basically its more cost effective to get the Family Fix one (rather than just the one that will fit the group 0 baby seat) - as it will also suffice for a Maxi Cosi group 1 car seat - so you can use the base up until your child is 4 years old!
PLUS.....the Family fix ones go for around £80-£100 second hand on Ebay!! I bought my Family Fix base from Halfords yesterday with a 10% off discount code online and collected free from store - making it £125.99! (plus TCB also). I couldn't find it cheaper than this anywhere - code only lasts until tonight but if you want it - its EMFEB01. Even though you reserve online - you don't have to pay until you get to the store and Halfords will test it for you - so you don't have to buy there and then if you don't want to!0 -
Thanks again pigpen I've been to debenhams and bought a couple of very comfy, very supportive bras and oh my what a difference it has made to me being comfortable!
You were right about mothercare, they were wrong by 2 cup sizes! I now have a bra from mothercare that unfortunately I have cut the tags off and put through the washing machine so I cant return it, but I doubt i will ever wear it as no wonder it was uncomfy.
I've also noticed today that I have erm.... crusty nipples, looks like I have already begun making milk and have leaked a bit, thought it would be too early for that! It doesn't hurt, it just looks like dried, slightly yellow milk. Google leads me to believe this is quite commonIf at first you dont succeed, try, try again0 -
You don't *always* need the isofix base as you can use the belt to strap in the seat (unless your seatbelt is not long enough like the new micra for example). If you are unsure, take your car to the nearest mother care or halfords and get the seat test fitted. The base can help with ease of fitting though!
For the oyster, yes you need a £20 adapter for the pebble to fit0 -
Thanks Ihatedida and splank. I am still a little confused! So cabriofix is not a base? And are all cars compatible with the isofix bases? Baffling!0

Oh and are you able to twist the carseat to the side when taking it out/putting it in?0

No the Cabriofix is a seat - this is the one I bought the other day: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxi-Cosi-Cabriofix-Infant-Carrier-Intense/dp/B007C3UOIQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1360534844&sr=8-2 - there are 2 isofix bases that it fits on (or can be seat belted in - but if you look on Youtube its a bit of a faff - so hence why I decided to get a base!) base 1: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxi-Cosi-EasyFix-Car-Seat-Base/dp/B000PHCQQ4/ref=sr_1_2?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1360534930&sr=1-2 and base 2: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Maxi-Cosi-FamilyFix-Car-Seat-Base/dp/B002YK51YE/ref=sr_1_3?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1360534930&sr=1-3 (the latter being the most cost effective as per my last post! I had been researching for days before I bought both the seat and base! LOL! I am THAT sad!:rotfl:0
