Waaahhhh! I'm ill :( Got a cold :( Woke up with sore throat and feel 10 times as crap as I already did.

    Am I allowed Soothers?

Going to get some lemons today to make hot honey and lemon drinks.

Can't be that bad yet as I've not reached for the paracetamol. Just feeling sorry for myself ;) It's just not what I need right now - DD's birthday and my birthday this week.
    Baby Giz born 6/2/11
  • You can have the non-medicated ones as they are just sugary sweets, best to check with the chemist. Paracetamol is fine if you do end up feeling worse. Hope you feel better soon x

Do other areas at least have less appts if it's not your first baby? Just interested...

In our area it seems to be that they want to see me every 5 weeks. Every time when I leave they ask me to book in again for 5 weeks time. I was in for my first appointment at a little over 12, then again at 17+5, and I'm due back in at 22+5. I think it seems that they just follow that format. MW told me that every time I come in they will check my blood pressure and urine and listen to baby's heartbeat.

When is everyone starting parentcraft classes?

I cannot wait for my scan!! 2 weeks tomorrow!! :)

Sorry you are feeling pants giz! I had a cold at about 12ish weeks and got through it with Vicks vapo rub, hot ribena and paracetamol when I needed it - mainly at night to help me get a decent sleep. Hope you feel better soon!

Ladies, when do we have the whooping cough jab?? Is it 25 weeks? My mind has gone completely. Again lol

    Thanks :)
  • I thought it was 28 weeks snozberry

I'm feeling quite "normal" today, it's a bit unnerving...no cravings, no sickness, no tiredness. So cue worry! I just want my huge bump and to be booted constantly as a reminder (I know I'll regret saying that later!).

I can't remember. I know that it is 20 odd weeks but my mind is babied out if that makes sense lol

You know, I don't have many cravings at all but my bump is growing heaps. Tbh, if it wasn't for my bump and the kicks and wriggles I wouldn't feel preggo at all. When he is sleeping, I usually forget and then wonder why I struggle to fasten my shoe laces or pick things up from the floor.

You can have mine, but it comes with a dodgy knee (I can hardly walk on it!), the other thigh is numb, and also a sore belly. Combine that with feeling as though I now have giant worms in my stomach several times a day and during the night....oh and the constant loo trips.....!:rotfl:

I think its 28 weeks also Snozberry - as I remember its the same time as the anti-d jab that I am supposed to have :(

Yep, definitely 28 weeks for whopping cough and Anti-D. Don't worry IHateDida, I've had the anti-D before, it's not bad at all :)

In my paperwork it says whooping cough jab at 34 weeks.. I'm not having it.. if I didn't catch it from DD or DGS last year I doubt I'm going to.
