Apricot - Are you still planning on having a sexing scan if they can't see at the 20 week scan?

Definitely - I want one now really but have been looking at the babybond website and there are no suitable dates for me until the week before my NHS scan so Im going to wait until then.:D

You might aswell - definitely moneysaving if you can just have the NHS one :money:
I've had a private scan already at 13 weeks (had bleeding and was really worried) so not sure I can justify cost of another just to know sex - especially having a girl and boy already - will wait and see what happens - just hoping all will be well with the baby and if they can get a good view of bits then double bonus)

my hospital wont tell you the sex at the 20 week scan anyway and i cant be bothered with the hassle and cost of a gender scan.

Hi all, what is the link pretty please for the ASDA free huggies pack? I have had so little time, really need to get up to scratch on deals!

GB I guess that makes you 18 weeks now, wow and you can feel the baby kicking? I am so excited to feel it, but I know the novelty must wear off ha ha :D

Anderson yes indeed that's some willpower! I always thought I'd wait but I can't resist...

We don't mind what sex baby is, however the whole family would love a boy I think as my eldest brother has 3 girls already, so we'll have to see :p

Looks like a lot of us are due around the last week of July - wow, what a busy time that'll be!

Thanks Apricot, sorry for the hassle, I thought it was a more specific link to a special offer - have now signed up but annoying my printer has no blue ink and the coupon printer doesn't allow just grayscale, just prints without allowing any options... but all sorted now. Anyhoo hopefully will pop there in the next week or two one weekend.

  • Hi ladies, can I move over to this thread from the 12 week one? :)

Im 14 weeks, so another one due in July :D I had my 12 week scan last week, and the date was move forward a little so im now due 3oth July.

My 20 wk scan has been booked for 11th March, and we will ask the sex, I think we'll start buying things then as at the moment we haven't brought anything, although we have been offered nursery furniture. Apricot, I think we will be like you, and once we start buying we wont be able to stop! :)

I recognise a few names from the 12 week thread, I'm glad your all doing ok xx

Hey Pookie good to see ya! Snap - we both have the same day for our 2nd scan - what a day eh! :jWe're all fairly close in terms of EDD, and I am 15 weeks tomorrow I think so have installed an app on my phone to remind me and keep me updated on latest info about baby and me too.

What is everyone eating? I am getting so hungry and at work am struggling to come up with ideas - normally I will have an example day as follows:

Breakfast - Porridge with cinnamon and honey
Mid morning snack - Cup of tea, 2 Go Ahead biscuits, nuts
Lunch - Soup and slice of bread
Mid afternoon snack - Fruit, and lately muller rice which I love
    Get home snack - Cereal
Dinner - Something like fish & new potatoes, maybe spag bol, or quorn burgers with mash

During the daytime is the hardest, as everyone at work eats chocolate/crisps/baguettes with lovely fillings. I am trying to be MSE but also healthy, and with restrictions on seafood and cheese (which I love) am left with no ideas... and just drooling at their lunches!

I almost feel I am eating pretty similarly to before pregnancy apart from the odd snack as don't want to overeat, but, being so hungry must mean I am not eating enough :o
