    Part of the Furniture
Well this weekend we have bought a cot (well, won it on ebay - 2nd handmama's and papa's cot) with wardrobe (which we don’t need so selling back on!)for £80! Then we have bought the bedding and a cot mobile from tesco - all weneed is the new mattress and we are done!

Think I might make a start next week on sorting out the room. Borrowed myparents vax to give the carpet a good deep clean. Was considering justreplacing it like we have done the rest, but other than it just looking a bitgrubby there is nothing wrong with it!

Wife is starting to feel the baby kick harder now on occasion, I have yet tofeel it kick on the outside but the wife and one of her work colleagues have!

    Evening all!

Love reading about all the pram research - there's SO much choice out there, it's crazy! I'd done quite a bit of online research but we went to mothercare at the weekend to look at a few and it's amazing how much I've changed my mind since seeing them! I was really set on getting a Maclaren XLR but it turns out the handles are really high (and I'm quite short!) so it is a definite no!

I liked the Babystyle Oyster, but it's pricey. We haven't been to Mamas and Papas yet but from looking online I like the look of the Sola.

Baby is moving quite a bit this evening which is lovely and reassuring ahead of tomorrow's scan. Am getting quite nervous about it, but really looking forward to seeing the baby on the screen again!

Well, we have made good use of the Mama and Papas sale (which ends tonight as I posted earlier today about) and we have bought bedroom furniture. There are some gorgeous things on there btw. I am verrry fussy about bedding and will be buying it on the high street as I need to feel it first.

I am now sorting out my maternity leave ... counting weeks and double checking them all is giving me a headache!

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow mrsj28! Make sure you have plenty of sugary snacks beforehand to keep baby active during your scan! :T

I am liking the babystyle oyster too, in Dolphin grey. The mamas and papas can be quite pricey too, loved the mylo but they didn't have the grey/sandy carrycot online. There are a couple of local baby shops which stock the babystyle and the silver cross ones too so after my scan next week I will go and take a look cos I quite like the silver cross linear freeway too. It's such a tough decision!then add on the carseats and adaptors and it gets so confusing!!
  • Morning ladies, I'm glad we made up our minds early and then haven't looked since, sounds like it could have got a lot more complicated!

I had an awful night's sleep - even with the maternity pillow. My back is aching and I have a weird stabby ache just below my belly button every so often which I have a feeling is baby wriggling - hopefully my body will get used to it!

Hi ladies, thanks so much for all the messages. All went well at the scan today, it was amazing to see how much the baby has grown and such a big relief to know all is looking normal at this stage. We didn't find out the sex in the end.

All my worries about having a big bump were silly as well, the fluid volume is normal and the measurements are nice and average :j

I was nervous the whole way through the scan, can't believe it's all ok!

Who else has a scan coming up this week?
