Thank you so much BB for that - thats really helpful. It didn't mention the ISOfix thingy so thanks - but I might just have a look at how much the base costs first! Are girls quieter in pushchairs?!?! LOL! (or can they be trained to be quieter so I can get away with a front facing one??!!):D
I also found this yesterday although I think I am looking at the design as opposed to anything else (wrong I know but hey....I've got to push it!!!!) - http://www.just4baby.co.uk/acatalog/Cosatto-Giggle-3-in-1-With-Car-Seat-Combi-Pram-in-Treet.html (my OH did say that he wouldn't be pushing such a hideous looking pram but I'm sure he'll come round :rotfl:- it looks very Orla Kiely-ish!!!)0 -

My youngest daughter still hates her pushchair I think she has been in it maybe a dozen times because she screams like she is being murdered from the second she goes in until you let her out! She is 16 months so not 'tiny' . My 2.5 y/o hated it too, but she is just nosey.
I have found the smaller babies hate being in them unless they are bundled up and snuggly. I could never decide if they felt exposed or uncomfy or just got jiggled about too much as you trundle along. My youngest boy was 3lb 10 and didn't go in his until he was about 8 months old and weighed about 12lb because he hated it. I had several pushchairs I tried him in and he hated them all.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I'm wondering whether it will get an experience close to what its getting now - I travel 50+ miles in a car every day across quite bumpy roads! I am going along the lines that once its out - it might think its back in the womb and all the bumpiness will be soothing!!!! (of course I might have completely the wrong theory here....:D!)0 -
I'm still too chicken to look at baby furniture and the like but, according to my OH, the online sale in Mama and Papa's ends today. We will be ordering baby furniture when he gets home.
My OH is very happy to spreadsheet and colour code everything that we need. He wants to buy a bugaboo travel system and the ones that he has shown me do look very nice.
22 weeks tomorrow and 2 more weeks until I will feel comfortable to look properly at baby things. I'm just too paranoid for my own good at times. I have my recall scan on Friday. With any luck he will pose for the sonographers0 -
Well I have bitten the bullet and finally done a bit of buggy research! Looking at the which reviews and thinking about what we need (light and easy to fold and store). I'm thinking about this:
http://www.babyjogger.co.uk/citymini.php
It has a universal car seat adaptor so can be used as a travel system if we want.
Also looks as though it has great reviews on mumsnet etc.0 -

Pippa this is the one Ive been looking at too - I was thinking about the uppababy vista to begin with but i found it so big and clunky when we tried it out last wed. I then had a look at 3 wheelers as they seemed nice and light in comparison and this one stood out..
Got home and realised it was a which best buy and well reviewed elsewhere too so that was a bonus! Not too sure about the colours and the carrycot is extra so comes in around £450 without car seat..
Also need to get adaptors for a maxi cosi car seat which is what we are getting..We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Ewww....imagine hand over new baby to someone for a hold and then having to add "errr....you'll just have to hang the carrier bag with my rotting placenta in over your arm as well...." (I just googled some pics....ewww!)0
