Great news BB, so glad all went well!
Anybody else got a scan on Monday? I can't believe how quickly it's come round!
Bounty is letting us down now though!0 -
Congrats BB, shame about the injections, but it mustbe easier doing them knowing its for the baby..
I think it is down to the 3 wheeler jogger or iCandy depending on which will function best off road as we will hopefully be making trips to Epping forest for walkies..which model is yours BB?
Sparkles I also want one that I can fold with one hand as I hate fiddly apparatus! We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

We've got a Jane Slalom, mogwai. It needs 2 hands to fold though, so probably not what you're looking for.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0

Congratulations on proving Bounty wrong (again!) Bigbird!:jAargh - all the talk of buggies
I know I need to start thinking about them but it is so overwhelming!
I feel like this too - I keep reading everyones suggestions and then get even more confused!!! I am going to wait until my 3rd scan in a couple of weeks until I buy something (or think more seriously about it!) - as I want a really girly one - but I just want a 2nd opinion on whether it is a girl first!!!! (can you imagine pushing a poor little boy in a pink spotty pram.... - I know they would know at the time BUT imagine when they get a bit older and you bring out the pics:D!)
Hows everyone? I went to the supermarket with the OH last night and my hips (and a knee) were playing up big time - I had to keep sitting down on those step tripods they leave around the store. Woke up this morning and they are much better - but I could hardly walk yesterday evening! I'm too old for this pregnancy malarky!:(0 -

Just had an offer through from Bounty - they have some of the available in the next few days for £439 - just wondered what they were . I like (BB - is this like yours?) http://www.preciouslittleone.com/product-information/19/20974/jane-slalom-pro-zero-matrix-light-2-travel-system-package-(graphite)/
I want to know in particular how easy the car seat is to get in and out - I want a system where I can just bring baby in from car without having to wake it up! Not particularly a funky colour but seems good value for a 3 wheeler package. We would have to get a really small buggy too I am guessing as this doesn't look like it would fit in a teeny Spark's boot (we have a Rio too - which I am guessing it will be ok for?).
Anyone any thoughts on this at £439???0 -
Mogwai the icandy peach is gorgeous and does look impressive, it's only the price that#s putting me off, so let me know if you get a good deal anywhere.0

IHateDida, that's a Slalom Pro, whereas ours is a Slalom R. I think the difference is that ours has a reversible pushchair seat, whereas the Pro is only forward-facing. As far as I can see, the pushchair itself is the same. I think we paid about £550 for the same package, so it looks like a good deal.
Whether it's worth paying extra to have the option of a parent-facing seat is hard to say. DS was a nosy little thing and it wasn't long before he was hanging out of the sides of the seat to see what was going on around him, so we turned his seat around to be forward facing a lot earlier than friends did with their babies.
The car seat with that one is the new version, which is isofix compatible - though god knows what the isofix base costs! We've got the older one which only fitted in the car with the seatbelt, but we had no problems with it and it was easy to get in and out of the car without waking DS up.
It is quite a big pushchair. I think whether it fits in the boot will depend on the boot's shape. I'm not sure about the Pro, but on the R the wheels pop off easily and the front footrest folds in. I had a Mini when DS was tiny and it would have fit in the boot if it wasn't for the bulge in the boot lid where the motor for the rear wiper is. It would have filled the entire boot though. But it fit in DH's Golf boot no problem at all.
I'd definitely try to have a look at one before you order, if you can.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0
