Just had our scan today, it was amazing to see the baby moving and kicking around and looking like a full grown baby..at one point he was making suckling movements, was soooo cute! :D

it was all over in 20min though, and DH missed the first 5 min due to parking the car :( but she went over everything again for him.

Soo...Bounty was right, we are having a boy! I really wanted a potty shot for the album but she didn't take a still of his bits, maybe we'll get one next time

The sonographer was really good as well, making reassuring noises every so often and letting us know what she was measuring

We went straight to kiddicare and tried out some prams and checked out cots, and bought some blue clothes so all in all it was a lovely day!
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

Glad to hear your scan went well Mogwai :D And congrats on team blue!

Wow, the Bounty gender predictor is doing well. I'd better start thinking of some girl names...

I suffered from Sciatica when I was pregnant with DS and that's not fun. The pain I had in my hip over the weekend was completely different, but has eased off a lot now so I probably just strained something when I was chasing around after DS.

Congratulations mogwai on your baby boy! My goodness - Bounty is a genuis!:D

Lovecake - I am also rhesus negative - but I haven't had a card:( I've also read that if you just planning on one baby you don't have to have the anti-d injections or something like that. I don't really understand it all as it was the horrible midwife who told me and all she did was shove a leaflet about it in my hand and then send me packing!!!!

Whats the difference between a anterior placenta and a posteria one - I am the latter according to my notes. Is one better than the other???!! Do I have a special one LOL!!!!:D

I received a brushed silver scan piccy frame today from Amazon - they are actually really nice if anyone else is interested http://www.amazon.co.uk/Triple-Baby-Ultrasound-Photo-Frame/dp/B002Z39JAC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358967846&sr=8-1 - although I am going to make a border for each pic as the scans are a little smaller than the glass. It will keep them safer than the flimsy cardboard things you get from the hospital.

Anterior is on the front and posterior is on the back. Posterior is better for blood supply, feeling movements and overall healthiness.

Thankyou! Goodness....I don't feel very healthy with a numb leg most of the time - the blood supply doesn't seem to be that great in the right leg region!:p
